Once upon a time I was a young US soldier in Germany. Out on a Saturday night, I went to a dance school, not because I had any interest in learning how to properly waltz or foxtrot, but because I knew a lot of sincere, traditional young German women wanted to do so…and I wanted to meet them.
On that snowy evening, I met one Sandra…a real cutie for whom I had to compete with an expert dancer named Dietrich. While she loved the way I tried so hard to speak German and be interesting, she would also have to go off on the dance floor with Dietrich who knew all the right moves. The life of a US soldier in Europe is not a static affair and Sandra and I were only able to form a good friendship before I was already ETS’d and back in the US taking an MBA on the GI Bill.
Later, as a businessman, I returned to Germany where I found that Dietrich had given Sandra a child and then disappeared from the face of the Earth because he wanted nothing more to do with her. She and I grew closer and we ended up living together for two years and I helped raise her first child to be a great young man. Life was perfect, but ultimately I was not the marrying type and I returned to the USA to date west coast feminists (big mistake).
Sandra soon found another husband, a better man than myself, who gave her two more children. Miraculously, we all turned out to be best of friends and every year I kept a promise to return to Germany for the first son’s birthday party during the German carnival season just for old times sake. I kept this promise even when I had to fly from California on a Friday evening and return on Monday for work. In other words, I really went out of my way to maintain this friendship and this tradition.
Every year, the birthday party was better than the one before. It became a tradition along the lines of the film On Golden Pond but more fitting with family values. Sandra never learned English and never learned anything about American feminism, yet (or should I say therefore) she was the wittiest, most interesting and most informed woman I have ever met.
Anyway…in February 2007 I was in Germany but received word that the party had to be canceled because of a diagnosis of breast cancer. This was devastating news but, because enough women survive breast cancer these days it was assumed that there was going to be a hard year ahead, followed by a subdued but happy birthday party in 2008.
In September 2007 I received a phone call from Sandra. The cancer was in remission and she was looking forward to recovering enough for the party six months later.
In January 2008 I returned to Germany and checked in. The news was not good. The cancer had just come back in a most vicious fashion. At this point, I decided that her doctors might not know what they were doing. I started sending emails and post cards with everything I could find on alternative ways to fight cancer. For weeks I received no response and wondered if I had crossed a line where I was somehow stalking my ex-girlfriend and alarming her husband.
But, on a trip to the Middle East, I received an email from Sandra thanking me not only for all the much-needed clues on alternative projects, but for all the times I had ever sent flowers and she thanked me a half dozen times with a dozen exclamation points for having been her friend all through the years and across the millions of miles that I had traveled. Her letter made it clear that she fully intended to survive and it would be with my help. This was the first email I ever received that switched on Niagara Falls for me.
A month later, on another trip to the Middle East, I was hospitalized with food poisoning and was laid very low for a week. When I got out of the hospital, I wrote an ironic email to Sandra about the whole incident. Arriving in Germany the next day, I immediately sent Sandra flowers with the ironic statement that I was still alive.
But I got an email from her husband the next day saying that Sandra ist verstorben the day before the flowers arrived. For those who do not read German, you really do not ever want to get an email saying that someone you have loved much of your life is verstorben.
Apparently breast cancer does not fool around. It doesn’t even wait until flowers properly arrive with ironic notes attached to them. This particular cancer was in some kind of a hurry…probably to claim its next victim.
Which brings me to the point of this article: breast cancer really is the main threat to the women of this world, not the men in their lives and the men around them. It is not true that one in 3 women in this world are raped. That statistic is a brazen lie. Much of what you hear about “Violence Against Women” is mendacious, anti-male ideological garbage. The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and the International Marriage Broker Regulation Act (IMBRA) are going to be overturned in the courts because of massive infringements of men’s God-given rights to say hello to foreign women and marry whom they want. One only needs to do a Google search for feminism and VAWA and IMBRA to see that there is a growing body of literature pointing out that the Domestic Violence Industry is a fraud where lawyers and professional feminists cash in on government largesse (meant to protect women) while men and women are split apart.
If any reader is working for a corporation or a women’s fund, I beseech you to budget 100% of your funding to stop vicious breast cancer from claiming more young Sandras.
Please budget 0% of your funds to victim feminist causes that support unconstitutional laws like VAWA and IMBRA and which presuppose that men are more violent than they really are.
I ask that you cut your funding to the feminists down to 0% because the opportunity cost of funding radical feminist causes is more women dead from breast cancer.
And to you victim feminists who are reading this (especially Layli Miller-Muro of the Tahirih Justice Center): you are NOT the real enemy of men. Breast Cancer is the real enemy of men. It takes away those whom we really love.
No victim feminist has ever made me cry. The passage of the VAWA and IMBRA laws did not make me cry.
But Breast Cancer has created in me a new Niagara Falls.
Feminists should call a truce with men so we can all turn to fight the real enemy.
Those of you men who still have the nerve to fight anti-male feminists, note that these feminists are like mosquitoes compared to the velicoraptors that the various breast cancers are. Never forget that.
In the words of Anne Murray: “No I don’t think time is going to heal this broken heart. No I don’t see how it can because it is broken all apart. A million miracles can never stop the pain, or put all the pieces together again.”

My mom was diagnosed with multiple myeloma a little over a year ago. This is a cancer of the blood (rarer than leukemia) which attacks the bones.
If an xray is taken of the bones they look like somebody took a paper punch and punched hundreds of tiny holes in the bones.
If everybody can bear my pontificating a little bit I’d like to describe some of my thoughts on cancer (as a laymen to the medical field). I have done a fair amount of research on alternative controls to cancer.
My understanding of what cancer is, is this:
Our DNA chains have hundred’s of thousands of “junk genes” which as humans are not even “switched on” and serve no useful function. One example of this concept is when people are born with tails, obviously this recessive gene was “switched on” in these people.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tail
In our contact with chemicals, electro-magnetic fields, radio waves, radiation, plastics, heavy metals or whatever our cells receive damage to their DNA.
At some point if the right combination of damage occurs a gene gets switched on causing it to mutate and become cancerous (a killer cell that attacks other cells).
I imagine if I were being told this for the first time I would ask:”Why do we have a gene that changes cells into killer cells?”
My (admittedly lacking but) growing understand is that there are rare instances where the body needs cells that kill off other cells.
As an example there is a type of cell called a trophoblast. This is a killer cell generated at conception (in a women’s body) that kills cells lining the uterus so that the umbilical cord has a spot to attach. The thing that differentiates these cells from cancer cells is that the mitochondria (the cell’s power plant where the miracle of metabolism happens) are normal.
As per the trophoblast cell’s genetic code has ordained the cell dies off shortly after it has finished it’s task killing the cells in the uterus. In other words the cell’s own genetic code gives it a “timer”. When the timer goes off the mitochondria shuts down killing the cells. All cells have a life-span (though not as short as trophoblasts). EXCEPT for cancer cells. Cancer cells not only divide like healthy cells, but their mitochondria are mutated, and the cells DO NOT DIE like other cells. This is part of what makes them so dangerous.
In any event from what I have read there simply MUST be a natural cure (or control) for cancer. In my mind if the cause of cancer comes from our environment, then the cure is most likely there too. The two biggest killers bacteria, and viruses where cured (mostly) through natural substances:
The polio vaccine was discovered by Jonas Salk which involves injecting humans with dead viruses which somehow still teaches our antibodies how to gobble them up. And penicillin was cultivated from molds growing in a bacterial petri dish.
The scientist Alexander Fleming noticed that the bacterial presence was subdued in the presence of this mold.
The mold was emitting a substance (penicillin) that killed the bacteria.
Also, there is a significant number of cancer patients who go into remission every year. Remission is a fancy way doctors have of saying “the cancer disappeared and we don’t know why.”
But obviously these lucky people had something change in their environment that beat the cancer. YOU WOULD THINK that these people would become the CORNERSTONE of searching for a cure!
But instead they’re quietly sent home, and checked up on every once in a while to see if their cancer returns.
In any event I believe that the natural cure for cancer is here.
Per this link from the University of Alberta:
http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn10971-cheap-safe-drug-kills-most-cancers.html
a compound called DCA turns cancer cell’s mutated mitochondria back to normal, killing it off.
Through other searches I have found out this substance is called B17. I have put my mom on 1000milligrams of this (per day) for the past six months or so. She looks and feels much better. (I have additionally revamped her diet to include lots of fruits and vegetables, fewer starchy baked goods, less red meat, more fish and chicken).
About 7 weeks ago her oncologist said she was in “partial remission”.
When I first began to give this compound to my mom I wasn’t sure which prospect was scarier: losing my mom, or living in a world where a natural cure for cancer was ignored due to the almighty dollar.
Additionally just before my mom was diagnosed she had lost 45 lbs in about 10 months. Now her weight has held steady for about six months. She has a big appetite and almost no nausea.
For you see, a natural cure can’t be patented–and there is no money to be made.
In fact from what I have read chemo and radiation probably hasten a persons death FROM the cancer. There is a lot of bits of evidence that the BEST defense for a cancer sufferer is a tough immune system (patients who receive liver transplants and have to take immuno-suppresants because the liver was rejected are FOUR TIMES likelier to get cancer than liver transplant patients who’s bodies accept the liver).
Chemo and radiation destroy the immune system.
Anybody who wants to research more of this feel free to do searches on any of the following key phrases:
B17
Laetrile
trophoblasts

Another good search is:
Sloan-Kettering
This medical company did the largest ever animal testing of tumors with laetrile. The company stated laetrile (B17) had no cancer-curing capabilities.
Apparently a researcher quit stating the company was covering up positive results.

Why is it we hear so VERY much more about breast cancer than about prostate cancer? My father has prostate cancer and so do many other men. American men die, on average, about five years before American women. Why is so relatively little attention paid to the reasons for this?

Thank you for the responses. Regarding DCA: It was my letter to Sandra about DCA that prompted her profusive thank you. I don’t think she ever got the chance to go that route.
Keep in mind that Germany and the United States have BANNED DCA. The politicians were paid off by the drug companies who cannot patent B17 and DCA and, thus, cannot make $Billions. I do not doubt that Sloan Kettering covered up positive results for DCA.
I was ready to smuggle DCA in from Austria via the factory in Canada, but Sandra’s doctors convinced her to do more radiation therapy in March and she died in early April.
I agree that the chemo and radiation possibly contributed to her death but I was not allowed to be that close to the situation.
You see there is an ugly twist to cancer in that it so changes a person’s appearance that they don’t want close friends to see them, but hold them at telephone/email/letter length.
If I were a cancer patient, I would head straight to Calgary, Alberta where DCA is best known.
Keep in mind that the Germans trust their medical system implicitly. Normally doctors know what they are doing here. This is all so very upsetting. It is like the world has been put on its head.
Regarding prostate cancer: Thank you Denise for pointing out that men are threatened by cancer as well of course.
But Congress gives no funding to radical men’s rights groups and ideologically malevolent Men’s Shelters which could be diverted to stopping prostate cancer instead.

I don’t understand what that statement is saying. Please explain.
When approximately 1000 times as much money is being spent on breast cancer as prostate cancer, there is something really wrong here. The death rates for men were higher even before they started curing most women, now it’s ridiculous.

I’m not real clear on this, but I think the FDA and Am. Cancer Society reached an agreement that people could sell B17 in the USA, but they CAN’T claim anti-cancer benefits.
In other words a commercial entity can open a website for B17 for sale in the USA (I go to apricotpower.com), but they can’t claim anti-cancer benefit.
There can be websites detailing B17 virtues, but they can’t sell the product. And there can be no connection between the two.
I believe this was the “cease-fire” that was called between B17 advocates, and the FDA/ACS.
You can see this agreement is the FDA’s way of saying: “fine, use whatever therapy you want, but we don’t want word spreading!”

I am glad there was a ceasefire in the US on B17.
The statement above about there being “no federal funds to divert from radical men’s rights groups to prostate research” was meant to say that the US federal government needs to STOP funding women’s shelters and other ideological centers for feminists and put the money into cancer research.
That breast cancer research already apparently receives 1000 times more funding than prostate research is another matter.
That is a catastrophe as well.
In fact, you would be more on target to make the point that the feminist groups mostly certainly should not be funded because the money should go to prostate cancer research instead.
Either way, the federally funded feminist groups need to lose their funding.
We need a plaintiff to ask the federal courts to agree with you. According to the Constitution and US vs Morrison there is a good chance that you will get their agreement.
We just do not have enough plaintiffs yet. Hardly anyone is in the MRM.
