Despite having the world's most powerful military, the US has been mucking about in Iraq and Afghanistan for longer than it took us to gear up from a peace-time economy and fight our way across the Pacific and Europe, against countries that were (in 1941) much better prepared than we were.

And yet crushing military superiority of a kind we didn't enjoy against either the Japanese nor the Germans, we still haven't established peace in countries it took us just a month to overrun.

Do you think we will any time soon? I'm not holding my breath. Our troops don't lack balls. They lack competent leaders, especially in Washington.

Good one, panic.

Well, I really don't know. What I do know is that there's not one "leader" on the horizon who's willing to ding the paint on a mosque or two to finish the job in the month or so that the operation should have taken from the conclusion of the first phase. See enemy, capture enemy, torture enemy, kill enemy. Guess we don't have the necessary weapons-system: balls. But lay the blame not only at milquetoast Bush's feet, but moreso the sewer rats in congress like Kennedy and Murtha, and the worms on CNN.

We're simply not going to win considering the strength of the fifth column, who are the more dangerous enemy, and the weakness of our government.

Be that as it may, we have far greater and more widespread battle victories in Iraq than will ever be reported.

And the total confirmed body count in Viet Nam exceeded not only the number of enemy combatants, but frequently the entire local population.

The source of your news is, to be charitable, a liar.

We can't afford any more good news.
There are only 2 messages that I want to hear, in order of preferences:
1. the last arab is dead
2. there are no more US citizens in the middle east
