		<description>The study of effects of lifestyle on prostate cancer has, I think, repercussions beyond the treatment of cancer or even disease for that matter. 

If vigorous exercise and diet can change gene expression and other events at the cellular level, then perhaps so can herbal therapy (as practiced in Chinese traditional medicine, for example), or even the exercise of will, i.e., positive thinking, meditation, mental relaxation. 

Knowing that one&#039;s genes are responding to whatever mode of therapy is being applied could strengthen one&#039;s resolve in fighting disease or merely becoming healthier. Having this insight definitely gives me greater clarity and power with respect to my own health.</description>
