Many, many Americans who consider themselves to be politically conservative are voicing their utter dismay at the choices they face in the election of a new President this year.
Friends and colleagues have told me just how tired they are of always voting for what they consider the better of two evils. In this election cycle, we’re talking about Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama.
To be sure, there are a number of third party candidates — Bob Barr of the Libertarian Party, Rev. Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party, and the usual suspects such as Ralph Nader. But their chances of victory are slim to none. About all third party candidates can hope to achieve is hurting the Republicans or the Democrats on election day.
The premiere Internet news and commentary website, The Conservative Voice, is now conducting a survey to gauge which candidate has the best chance of garnering the votes of conservatives and other voters.
