New Survey: Conservatives Speak Out During This Election Cycle
Many, many Americans who consider themselves to be politically conservative are voicing their utter dismay at the choices they face in the election of a new President this year.
Friends and colleagues have told me just how tired they are of always voting for what they consider the better of two evils. In this election cycle, we’re talking about Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama.
To be sure, there are a number of third party candidates — Bob Barr of the Libertarian Party, Rev. Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party, and the usual suspects such as Ralph Nader. But their chances of victory are slim to none. About all third party candidates can hope to achieve is hurting the Republicans or the Democrats on election day.
The premiere Internet news and commentary website, The Conservative Voice, is now conducting a survey to gauge which candidate has the best chance of garnering the votes of conservatives and other voters.

Thanks for sharing this. I’ve posted / linked in two conservative forums. Hope it helps make the survey one of conservatives as intended.

Jim; If you know someone at The Conservative Voice, you might want to let them know that their survey page is broken – at least a little. As I write this, Bob Barr has more votes than Barack Obama, but the percentages say Obama has almost 15% to Bob Barr’s 0. The bar graph suffers from the same problem.

Wow. The survey must have been advertised on Bob Barr’s website or sent out in a newsletter or something. (I’ve also noticed that you can vote more than once. In fact, each time I go back to check the figures, it looks like the only way in is to vote again.)

Hey Jim, you forgot to mention our very own beloved Amfortus. He’s running for president as well.
