That’s perfectly understandable, easy to see how that could happen.

Let me take this opportunity to belabor my point.

$700,000,000 (700 million) is to a trillion dollars, what $700 is to a million dollars, it’s practically nothing in comparison. I don’t think most people understand just how much a trillion is.

If you were a millionaire *a million times over* you would be a trillionaire.

The reason it’s so important for people to understand the numbers is because, if they don’t, then they have *no concept* as to how much they’re sacrificing. It truly needs to be put into perspective, so that we can all really understand what’s happening.

If people can grasp the numbers, then maybe they’ll take another look.

Another case in point is the divorce and single mother industries. They’ve cost the taxpayer at least a trillion dollars over the last decade, and will cost them trillions more in the coming years, and it’s all very needless. The cost of putting up with our corrupt Family Courts is bankrupting our nation and it’s *totally unnecessary*.

All of this is a wake up call to the American people; we don’t have trillions of dollars to recklessly throw around like this, while destroying our country in the process. Our courts and government are *completely out of control*.

There were a lot of people who saw this coming and Republican Dr. Ron Paul was certainly one of them. I honestly believe he was our only hope for *real change* and he was largely ignored, and in some cases ridiculed by the media, and consequently the vast majority of Americans never took him seriously.

Ron Paul is by far the better man for the job, than McCain or Obama, in practically every conceivable aspect.

Thanks for the correction. I was balancing my checkbook at the time and got a little confused. . .

Your point is also on target. We've only just begun.

“Now Washington wants to spend $700 million — maybe more — for a bailout plan that can’t guarantee success and didn’t even exist two weeks ago.”

$700,000,000,000

That’s $700 billion with a B. I’m sure $700 “million” was a typo, but it bears mentioning, especially when such *huge numbers* are involved.

It’s already been said that it will likely be a $1,000,000,000,000 (trillion) dollars and I think that’s a gross understatement. We should all know how the government spends our money by now.

The temptation to throw good after bad will be irresistible because of the huge amount wasted already. At best, the $700,000,000,000 is just the beginning, and is only a Band-Aid on a terminally ill patient.

Be prepared for your dollar to buy about half as much in the near future.
