I Got Nowhere Else to Go
So, what can I expect from an Obama Presidency, a Reid Senate, and a Pelosi House?
The elimination of the Bush tax cuts will immediately raise my income taxes by 24 percent. This increase will impact our household income, based on my wife’s salary, and my retirement pension.
The Obama tax plan will increase the number of working people who don’t pay income taxes from 35 percent to almost 45 percent.
The promised 25 percent cut in defense spending will put our nation at risk.
Energy costs will skyrocket with the implementation of ‘cap and trade’. The coal industry will be bankrupted.
A private army, answerable only to President Obama and outside of constitutional constraints, will be created.
Abortions will increase dramatically as a result of the ‘free choice act’.
Non union workers will lose their right to a secret ballot when voting on unionization, leaving them open to intimidation, threats, and physical harm with the ‘card check’ act.
The proposed hate crime laws will eliminate free speech in our houses of worship.
Medical care will be distributed and rationed by unelected bureaucrats, rather than medical professionals.
The ‘fairness doctrine’ will monitor free speech, and squelch dissenting voices. Criticism of the administration will result in legal threats, investigations, and official harassment.
The Supreme Court will be packed with judges who do not have any respect for the Constitution, as personal agendas will be acceptable.
The President will ignore Constitutional constraints and responsibilities, as he believes it is “fundamentally flawedâ€.
Gun owners will be restricted in what they may purchase, and the type of ammunition they can use. Home owners will be criminally charged if they use a firearm to defend their family or property. Gun manufacturers will be driven out of business through new taxes and restrictions. Legal gun owners will eventually have their firearms confiscated, as we saw in New Orleans, Washington and Chicago.
Radio stations that criticize the administration will lose their FCC licenses.
I wish I was making these up, but each of my comments is the result of listening to Barack Obama statements, reading his writings, or watching how his campaign staff acts. In other words, there is documentation for each of the statements I have made.
When asked why he would not quit his basic training in “An Officer and a Gentlemanâ€, Richard Gere famously replied “I got nowhere else to goâ€. America has been the world’s last, best hope for over 230 years. I fear that is about to change. Will my grandsons grow up in the freedom I have enjoyed, or will America fundamentally change? I hope not, because I too have nowhere else to go.

Any MRA not voting for Palin to defeat Biden must love his servitude and humiliation. Does he believe he deserves his fate from Biden? Have you sent in your gun to Obama/Biden to show your serfdom? Will Biden/Obama allow you to speak after you have fainted before them? Look at what testosterone did for Floyd Landis. You can buy testosterone.

“America has been the world’s last, best hope for over 230 years. I fear that is about to change.” A tad exaggerated, but I would settle for around 70 years. It maybe the shortest-lived ‘Great Power’ humankind has experienced. Unfortunately it has squandered the hope and leadership that was its legacy from its Parents, the United Kingdoms.
Now, if Obama wins, it will hear its own death rattle as the Communistic ethic in all its virulent ant-humane aspects sweep through its diminishing Character. There will be weeping and History will look back in astonishment at America’s decline and fall.

amfortas, if you think America has been a bit of a bully up until now, just wait. Just wait until we have a “dear leader” who wants to “help” you for your own good.
I’d tell you to stock up on ammo, but I understand your country is way ahead of us on that particular agenda.

That’s exactly right, you don’t have anywhere to go, and neither do the rest of us.
America has been the “only hope†for over 230 years and that’s not exaggerated. It’s also been the only hope for many ungrateful Europeans who’ve had their sovereignty defended by the blood of American Citizens twice in the last hundred years.
England has deteriorated into a deplorable and uninhabitable “nanny state†with cameras on every public street. America is the only country left in the habitable world where people retain the right to own firearms.
If you want to help preserve our freedom, it’s time to get tough with the criminals who want to subvert the Constitution. The Constitution is the law of the land that every true American should be prepared to defend to the death. Any of you won’t help defend the Constitution, are merely subjects of the Crown.

This is a bit silly. I am sort of expecting all the men’s sites to close after the election as if they have been defeated.
Nothing is over. If human nature is nature itself then so be it. It will go where it goes.
I can’t help thinking about “Natural born killers”. Great movie. Life will go on. It has never gone in a straight line with human nature involved.

I expect the men’s sites to become more popular.
A basic idea that I hold is that Democrats are aggressively ant-men and anti-father and the Republicans are passively anti-men and anti-father except in instances where visibility is high and then they are just as aggressively anti-male and anti-father as the Democrats, e.g., just as many Republicans voted for VAWA as Democrats.
An Obama/Biden administration will provide a boat-load of material and examples to publicize to men everywhere as to just how badly they get screwed by their elected respresentatives while at the same time these
“representatives” expect them to pay for this screwing via taxation.
Men everywhere are fed up.
That will not go away.

@ Denis, “I expect the men’s sites to become more popular.”
That would be great. But it may not be democrats to win. You just never know.

Tyrants and other folks who have “good ideas” they want to force on us, are in for a very unpleasant surprize.
Freedom reigns in this country and sooner or later, preferably sooner, people are going to stand up and put and end to any tyrants reign of terror. Oh a lot of people, innocent people are likely to end up dead, but we will get rid of any would be Fuerer and demigod.
The reason this will happen is simple, the people are the real power, they make things happen, they produce everything and they are what this country was and still will be about.
It will start will mere resistance, not voluntarily going along with the “dear leaders plan” and end with, men with guns taking his arrogant ass out. You will, if you want any type of freedom or self determination, have to make you life invisible and make sure the tyrants don’t know where you live. Through out history, people have done this, because to live free, it was necessary.
It won’t be permanent, all the “thousand year reichs” and the communist plans to rule the world all ended up on the ash heap of history and so will any tyrant here in America , he will also end up vanquished and beaten.

Let’s put into context that the same was said by both sides when Bill and Hillary Clinton swept into office. We’d all have nationalized healthcare and daycare, in the very least, and possibly even have the United Nations running everything.
No kidding.
Considering everything Obama has said, especially about energy, it’s amazing that so many voters are still turning out for him. But then again, it’s amazing that people drive cars while preaching that drilling for oil is evil. Or that nuclear power is bad, and coal and oil too, but put up christmas tree lights (yes, I actually saw this.) We are living in a society where people go into fantasy mode in the voting booth. They don’t connect the reality of what they vote for with their own personal lives. They think that it will all magically work out. That a superwindmill will provide their energy if enough people vote for it.
On Wednesday, expect the stock market to drop. Then expect every word that Obama says about “Change” to have negative effects. He’s going to be in a hot seat overnight.
Then, even before he gets into the white house to start writing checks to his buddies, Russia, Iran, and North Korea are going to start trouble. Biden even gave them a written invitation! He’s already cashed the check after selling out the military, but will he be able to make cuts after bombing Pakistan? Oh, and the best part is that all the working class Joe Plumbers in the military will not back him up. I wonder if Osama Bin Laden might invade San Franscisco and force the women into burkas. Don’t expect ME to risk MY life to stop him!!!
I always chuckle at the notion of free daycare for feminists who don’t want to spend money on illegal immigrant nannies. Do they think that the same brilliant minds that made the public school system are going to raise their children for free? There’s no money for the schools today and with home prices plummeting (and they’ll bottom out with Obama), that simply won’t happen. Hasn’t California started selling itself to China at 10 cents on the dollar yet?
I personally wouldn’t buy a house at this time because I don’t want to be on the hook for massive property tax increases. I’ll wait until that plays out and others will do the same. They’ll have 5 bedroom McMansions drop down to the 5 figure range.
I’ll invite you all over to the DC area for BBQ at my mansion when it’s over.

> On Wednesday, expect the stock market to drop.
Good call. The threat of Obama raising capital gains taxes by a third or more is but one of many good reasons to flee towards the safety of cash.

I agree, campaigns are waged largely on symbolic terrain. As Al Sharpton said on TV just now, the american people feel Obama understands them. So we’re back to Clinton’s “I feel your pain”… When that’s all that matters, a politician doesn’t have to have any actual relevant ideas about doing anything to alleviate said pain. Mere acknowledgment is sufficient. Just like how after each pointless debate all the pundits could come up with was how Obama “looked presidential”, since being able to strike a pose evidently suffices these days.

Men — the most important thing we have to remember now and for the future is to be good to EACH OTHER…
The various “shaming” tactics that have been instituted against our very nature by this (amoral) culture have left a lot of regular “Joe’s” feeling isolated… (Joe= future MRA?)
A kind word or gesture at the most basic level — in everyday interactions — can do wonders for the down and out…
Why is this so hard? Probably because for a lot of us, we still view life as a modern, grown-up version of that old childhood game “King of the Hill”…
When will be our time, when MRA’s come together?
Think about it … if 21st century men ever combined their talents, drive and imagination, they would assemble the single greatest FORCE the planet has seen since the days of America’s original “Dream Team” at the ‘87 Constitutional Convention in Philly!!
I’d hustle for that team …

Well said because one thing for sure – neither the republicans or the democrats will help us. It is not as if they are just pandering to the ‘womens vote’ either because they are in fact pandering to a particular RADICAL FEMINIST type and then they are hoping that with the odd ‘treats’ given out here and there that women in general will be fooled into thinking they are serving THEM!
The last thing our leaders seem to want is strong families where man and women get along well with each other – if THAT happened maybe us poor plebs would have time to notice exactly what our ‘betters’ are up to!!
If McCain had been more supportive of fathers rights maybe he still wouldn’t have got elected because the propaganda and programming of our enemies is so vast. Fine, in the interim while Obama drinks deep from the poisoned chalice he has inherited we can coalesce, consolidate and who knows even BUY billboard space and TV adverts to start to reverse the decades of negative social engineering from the radfems and their nest feathering enablers.

On the way to work today I’m listening to talk radio. A conservative talk show host is talking to a 25 year old male graduate student at Harvard. He is talking about his activism in the Obama campaign. He is talking about an Obama Presidency in idealistic terms-the only terms he can as he has relatively non-existent real life experience. He has been largely influenced since the age of about 18 years old by one political point of view and understanding that has been spoon fed to him. But he thinks and believes he knows more than just about eveyone else. He just voted for a guy that will do all of the above to people working and raising families. He voted in a team whose V.P. has a long long history of hostility to men and fathers. Obama/Biden got ~70% of the 30 and under crowd. This male graduate student has been influenced early in his life-at a time when he is unable to make balanced comparisions between the propaganda he has been fed as an undergraduate and as a graduate student and real life experiences and situations. He has had little to no real life experiences and situations-certainly not as compared to the writer above-and the legions like him.
If you want to put the blame for which group caused this outcome-one only need look at the 30 and under crowd-especially those attending universities.
