Well folks its all about M O N E Y, when you get past all the "good intentions" that about it. The solution is not simple, but as with any problem, you start with what you can do about it. First make RU 486 widely available, ie that the abortion pill for all of you that have forgotten. Second, develope, or just market and distribute a "mans pill" and the other methods of birth control that are now technically possible for men. By the way, a mans birth control pill already existe and has been tested in Europe. It is time to bring it to America.
As far as women being used sexually, well they do it too, and they are not held accountable for it. Make the law equal, if a man does not want to be a father let him opt out, once these women have the hard options of : marry the father and create a conscionable agreement, b. give the child up for adoption, after the father get his chance to be a parent. Surprizingly there are many men today that would love the chance to be a parent without a mom. c. If those two options don't work, make fair and equitable laws that require joint physical/legal custody, don't let the women win and you will stop a lot of these" unplanned pregnancies"( hint there is no such thing as an unplanned pregnancy, women have always had some choice or other)

Seems to me what will end abortion is the end of "her choice (rights), his responsibility, children don't matter" that now rules the land.

While I applaud your efforts to save children's lives, men don't kill babies, women do, and that's the law, whether the father likes it or not.

Presuming the father to be abusive and the mother to be a victim has destroyed marriage and family, and so too it has and will continue to mean death for millions of children, born and unborn. In fact I believe "abortion rights" was key to undermining marriage and family, and was a precedent for creating the vast array of social pathologies children who survive the womb must now face.

The Constitution may be on its death bed, but pre-judging males as "abusive" and as putting "pressure" on women to abort is no more justified than the so-called "right to privacy" pulled out of thin air.

Equal treatment under law is the answer because that will return us to a culture whereby fathers and children matter again, and women have "choices" but denying responsibility for their own actions is not one of them.

Among the fathers who do fit the profiled stereotype described above, maybe having a stake in a child's life beyond paying the bills or going to prison, and being a parent to the child whether or not that is the mother's "choice", will sway most of them to choose life, and if not, at least it will justify treating them, and them only, the way all fathers are now treated.

Appealing to women's decency and compassion with no rights for men has put children into this mess, and staying the course may save a lucky few but won't get them out of it.

Nevertheless, thanks for trying to save children whenever and wherever you can.

“When a man uses a woman sexually with no commitment to her, abortion becomes an easy way to hide the evidence of the abuse. Many women who consider abortion believe they are unlovable and do not get out of these abusive relationships. The caring staff of a PRC can teach a woman that she is worthy of love and that she does not have to yield to a man’s pressure to abort her child. After knowing they are worthy of love, our clients can accept referrals to other agencies that can help them get out of abusive relationships.”

I think women use men for sex, without any intent of commitment, a lot more frequently than the other way around. The abuse you are talking about is better described as mutual self-gratification without taking necessary precautions.

Further, I doubt very seriously if any significant number of abortions are encouraged by men.

I’d be willing to bet that most of these men are not even informed about the pregnancy or the abortion. The only time they hear about a pregnancy, is when they’re brought before a court, for the adjudication of paternity, so they can be forced under the threat of incarceration, to pay so-called child support.

Abortion is a multi-million dollar industry that murders unborn children at taxpayer expense.

The existing alternative is a multi-billion dollar industry that supports these women and their children at taxpayer expense.

It’s a lose/lose situation for the taxpayer and that needs to stop.

It needs to go back to the way it was before the welfare state. The mother needs to marry the father or the child should be given up for adoption. Abortion should never be an option under any circumstances. We tried granting abortions under some circumstances and it didn’t work.

Abortion, and single mothers, will stop being a problem when people wakeup and refuse to keep paying for it.
