Lou Dobbs had a long running series criticizing the “Outsourcing of America” and our unbelievably bad trade policies to little avail.

I’m no expert, but it seems to me we’re in big trouble if we lose too much of our industrial base.

If our country’s future depends on the media saving us, then in my opinion, we don’t stand a chance.

I think the internet stands the best chance for making change. It did wonders for Ron Paul, Barrack Obama and Howard Dean to name a few. It has opened my eyes more in the last two years, than the last thirty years of relying on the media for my news. I can hardly stand to watch the network news anymore. People like Katie Couric, Brian Williams, Bill O’Reilly and practically every other mainstream anchor, except for Lou Dobbs, make me sick to my stomach.

It’s no wonder they’re trying to squash the internet in its cradle. It’s a major threat to the status quo.
