In his day, it worked so much better to push dramatic expansions of government with the argument that people need to be forced to take personal responsibility. How strange that people didn&#039;t immediately seen the irony of the argument.</description>

Yes, that&#039;s true.  Unfortunately, the fact that we &lt;i&gt;haven&#039;t&lt;/i&gt; done that is one of the reasons we&#039;re where we are today.  

The leftists are masters of cheap political points, and the sheeple can only hear sound-bite size bullet points.  A reasoned argument is apparently far beyond the average voter now.

&lt;b&gt;It is up to the alternative media, especially conservative bloggers, to expose the doublespeak that is dragging our nation into ruin. Itâ€™s not a laughing matter anymore.&lt;/b&gt;

Also true.  But how do you get people (who think MySpace is a good source of news) to read worthwhile blogs?</description>
