Movement archives

Gents, and involved ladies, I have just completed an exhaustive archiving of men’s/fathers’ movement unity efforts in the U.S. from the 1960’s to the 1990’s, 482 pages in length – in pdf format. It can be read by those with a PDF reader (available free from Adobe.com) at the following URL:

It’s all there, the heroics, the pettiness, the bickering, a post-mortem, and pictures of the godfathers. Those ignorant of history are bound to repeat it (indeed have done so). Striving for unity is akin to herding cats.

Future and present aspirants to leadership would be well-advised to study these documents carefully in order to familiarize themselves with those whose shoulders they’re standing upon, and with the weaknesses and pitfalls of the system awaiting them.

This isn’t a history of the men’s movement per se, but rather the history of coalition efforts within that movement.
