Angry Harry Op/Ed: Lies About Rape

2009-08-16
By

Feminists have now spent nearly four decades stirring up hatred towards men in order to enrage women and to make them feel antagonistic towards men.

The idea behind this is to rally the support of women so that they can pursue their own ambitions – which have got nothing to do with gender ‘equality’ and nothing to do with any genuine concern about ‘women’.

Their persistent hate-stirring is just a callous, calculating, well tried and tested mechanism through which feminists the world over have gained enormous power. (For example, see Equality Between Men and Women is not Achievable).

The way that this tactic works is simple.

Step 1. Feminists claim that women are forever being abused by men in some way; emotionally, physically, sexually, financially etc. This fires up women’s anger against men.

Step 2. Feminists then tell women that they will do something about these wicked men.

Step 3. Women flock to support them.

Indeed, politicians and governments the world over have used, and continue to use, similar demonising and fear-mongering tactics in order to get the support of people.

In the case of feminists, they will lie and deceive at every opportunity in order to get this support so that they can pursue their own personal ambitions.

With much success.

And they care not at all how much damage to people – including to women – or to society at large that they cause in their selfish pursuit of their own power, wealth and status.

A good example of this total disregard for people – even for the welfare of women – can be seen in the way in which their draconian domestic violence policies have actually increased the incidence of domestic violence against women; e.g. see Would You Sign This Contract.

Witness also, for example, the colossal negative impacts of fatherlessness on so many millions of people (particularly poor people) that have arisen as a result of the activities of feminists  – who believe that family breakdown is a ‘positive development’ (because, allegedly, marriage oppresses women) and that children do not need fathers.

But in this piece, I just want to focus on the issue of rape, so that you can quickly gain some insight into just how pervasive is the dishonesty and maliciousness of those involved in the feminist movement.

And I am going to show you how the figures for ‘rape’ are manufactured, distorted and falsified in order to maximise the amount of hatred towards men pervading society and, hence, in order to maximise the support for those feminist policies which are designed to debilitate or disadvantage men in some way.

I am going to talk mostly about the UK, but the same kind of tactics are used in many westernised countries such as the USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and, now, much of Europe.

These tactics have been replicated in all these countries because they work. And what follows is just as applicable to these countries as they are to the UK.

As a first step in understanding how the rape figures are falsified, it is important to recognise that the figures for ‘rape’ that are bandied about in the press and by the Home Office are not figures for rape but for allegations of rape. And the evidence strongly suggests that some 90% of rape allegations in the UK are false.

In other words, at the outset, the purported rape figures are some ten times greater than is the true case.

These bogus, highly-inflated figures are then typically multiplied by a factor of somewhere between 4 and 10 (increasingly 10) in order to arrive at a supposed figure for the number of rapes taking place across the country which are not reported to the police.

But the whole thing is a scam designed to inflate the rape figures massively.

And the extent of this scam is so great that the purported incidence of rape throughout the UK could, in fact, be something like 50 times greater than is the real incidence.

To understand this, imagine that 100 women report a rape to the police.

The feminist-dominated Home Office will claim that, in fact, 1000 women will have been raped (with 900 not going to the police) and this is the message that will be sent out to the public.

Far closer to the truth, however, is that of those 100 women who reported their rapes, some 90 were making false accusations; which means that only 10 were genuinely raped.

In other words, on the basis of about 10 rapes, the Home Office tells the public that there were 1000 rapes across the country.

(Typically, we get something like 700 rape convictions every year in the UK, and then this number magically metamorphoses into 70,000.)

Now, of course, you cannot just take my word for all this. And so I am now going to show you what the evidence really reveals. And I am afraid that it will take some effort on your part to understand it – perhaps a whole hour of fairly concentrated reading.

But once you have understood how the feminists’ game is played, you will see just how malicious and dishonest are feminists, and are those who are supporting them.

1. The first point that I want to make is that a 90% false allegation rate does not imply that most women would make a false allegation. Indeed, a 90% false allegation rate is completely consistent with the notion that 99% of women would never lie about being raped; e.g. see The Rape Illusion.

2. Furthermore, the claims of feminists are so exaggerated that, if they were true, it would follow that men are 490 times more likely to rape a woman than is a woman likely to make a false rape allegation – a notion that is completely untenable. For example, see this short YouTube video entitled Understanding Feminist Rape Statistics.

3. And if you look at the Home Office research into rape, you will see that it is completely stitched up in such a way so as to maximise the rape figures. The piece entitled The Home Office Caught Stirring Up Hatred Again gives you some insight into just how dishonest are those who are engaged in rape research.

4. As another example of this dishonesty, take a look at Ignoring Relationships In Rape to see how the ‘advisers’ to the Home Office manage to twist the evidence in order to justify the feminist claim that being raped by an intimate should, at the outset, be considered by judges to be as bad as a rape by a stranger.

(This notion that intimates should be expected – by law – to treat each other as if they were strangers, is fundamental to the feminist movement because it underpins their quest to damage all close relationships between men, women and children.)

5. In Rape Baloney Part Two you can see further evidence for the view that there are sufficient numbers of dysfunctional, manipulative, aggressing, dishonest women within the population – women who will likely make false rape allegations for the most trivial of reasons – to guarantee that the false allegation rate will remain extremely high.

But neither the Home Office nor the feminists seem to accept that such women exist.

In their view, just about every woman in the country is, at all times, always honest, always truthful, never malicious, never drunk, never irrational, never spiteful, never deluded, never vengeful, and always angelic.

However, when it comes rape – and, indeed, to domestic violence – the reality seems to be as follows.

A small proportion of women (perhaps of the order of 2%) can feel sufficiently vindictive or aggressive enough to make false allegations of rape or domestic violence. This relatively small number of women  – about 500,000 across the UK – about 2.5 million in the USA – are clogging up the legal system with their false allegations – no doubt partly as a result of the continual media deluge urging all women to report ‘abuse’, and partly because they are forever being told that they will always be believed.

Now, feminists and government ‘researchers’ clearly know about such women – but they have resorted to lying and distorting the research in order to push them out of sight.

And the reason that they do this is because it buttresses the empires of both the feminists and of millions of government workers. (‘Millions’ is not an exaggeration.)

6. Over the past few months, there seems to have been an increase in the UK in the number of women being prosecuted for making false rape allegations. While, on the face of it, this is very good news, it also seems to be part of a government tactic that has been employed simply to justify further corruption and further prejudice against male defendants in rape trials; e.g. see The Rape Scam.

7. Finally, for those of you who cannot fully understand why governments are so keen to support the feminist agenda and to support the perpetual deluges of feminist lies, I recommend two of my pieces; Why Governments Love Feminism and Do Not Respect Them.

In the former piece you will see that feminist propaganda and feminist policies are worth hundreds of billions of pounds every year to western governments, and in the second piece you can see just how deceitful and cruel are those supposedly ‘respected’ people working for the government (such as those working in the Crown Prosecution Service) as evidenced by, for example, their attempts to have a postman convicted of “sexual assault and battery” just for kissing a woman on the cheek.

However, each of these two pieces will, unfortunately, take about 15 minutes to read.

    Hi Everyone

I didn’t realise my post was up.

I think that the big problem is the fact that the figures of rape in the USA and elsewhere are for allegations of rape – and it is quite clear, therefore, that there is no reason to believe the ‘rape’ figures.

Worse, in my view, is the fact that the concerned politicians and the relevant officials know very well that the public is deceived by this ploy; which means that they are purposely deceiving the public.

    And THAT is a disgrace.

Also a disgrace, is the fact that regardless of what the true figures might be, the laws have been stacked completely against the defendants, that their lives can be ruined just by allegations because of publicity, and that they are treated badly by the officials well before they have got to court.

    @Denis

Interesting stuff about male rape! We need to get this more highlighted.

And this kind of thing … “28.3% of rapes were reported to police in 1999″ is really irritating … because they will have come up with this figure on the basis of questionnaires.

Did you have sex when not in the mood = rape.

But, to repeat, the numbers are not really the most important issue. It is the attempt to deceive and the way in which defendants are treated.

    @Brussels

I think that the allegedly 1,000,000 rapists NOT in prison is claimed, by the feminists, to be the result of only 10% of women reporting their rapes!

    Thanks Everyone.

Harry-I posted this on MND in 2006. Things haven’t changed much.

Men are by far the greater victim of violent crime in the U.S., including homicide, rape, robbery, and both simple and aggravated assault.
This is proven on the DOJ own webpage.

    http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov

There is a great deal of information which provides a more detailed picture of the complexities of violent crime in America. Here you can get data and not just someone throwing out numbers and statistics of their own creation.

During 2004, approximately 94,635 females nationwide were victims of forcible rape.

This represents 63.5 rape victims per 100,000 females (1 in 6 attempted or completed rape would be: 16,666 per 100,000, so you may be a little off here)

    Let’s see:

In 1994 432,100 females and 32,900 males were victims of rape or sexual assault according to the DOJ

That would be 390 per 100,000 for females and 30 per 100,000 for males.

Note that the male figure 30 per 100,000 does NOT include prsion statistics. In any case 390 per 100,000 is far lower than 16,666 per 100,000 (that 1 in 6 stat thrown around here).

    Finally:

    (go to: http://www.spr.org/en/factsheetfbi.html)

    FBI Ignores Male Rape

[Sexual assault] is a crime of violence of which anyone regardless of age, race, religion, sex, or size, can be a victim. . . . The summary definition of forcible rape is the carnal knowledge of a female forcibly and against her will. One major criticism of the FBI’s rape statistics is this definitional exclusion of male rape. James A. Woods & Samuel Berhanu, Statisticians, FBI1

The Federal Bureau of Investigation practice of including only female rape victims in its widely-used annual Uniform Crime Report (UCR) on violent crime is outdated and ignores the vast numbers of men who are raped and sexually brutalized while incarcerated in the United States.

The FBIs report defines forcible rape as (t)he carnal knowledge of a female forcibly and against her will. The forcible rape of men is excluded from the annual calculation of serious crimes in the U.S., which draws from the reports of 17,000 law enforcement agencies throughout the country. The UCR categories have not changed since their creation in 1929 “ except for the addition of arson to the Crime Index in 1979. The FBI states that it has traditionally defined rape victims as female.3

The FBIs approach to rape statistics in the UCR trivializes the suffering of male rape victims, and Stop Prisoner Rape calls on the FBI to revise its categories to include the rape of men as a violent crime.

    THE FACTS

A study by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institute of Justice found that males are victims in 15% of all sexual assaults.4

The same study found that 1 in 33 men in the United States has experienced an attempted or completed rape in his lifetime and approximately 92,700 men and boys are forcibly raped each year.5

A recent study of prisons in four Midwestern states found that approximately one in five male inmates reported a pressured or forced sex incident while incarcerated. About one in ten male inmates reported that he had been raped.6

More than 2 million people are now serving time in the United States,7 and millions more pass through the criminal justice system every year. In 1998, for example, 11.5 million inmates were released from jails and prisons.8 One out of every 140 people in the United States is now behind bars, the highest rate of any nation.

Rape is already the most underreported violent crime.9 The omission of male rape from the FBIs definition exacerbates the problem by further minimizing the prevalence of sexual assault.

Some states (e.g., Illinois) have refused to submit female only rape data to the FBI.10 Although the FBI attempts to extrapolate from the gender neutral figures provided, statistical precision inevitably suffers.

In their criminal codes, nearly all fifty states and the District of Columbia have shifted to gender neutral definitions of rape or sexual assault.11 Federal criminal law also defines rape without reference to the gender of the victim.12 The result is a mismatch between an outdated FBI definition and the more accurate definitions found in current criminal codes.

By reviewing the above it may be more truthful to say that the rape of males is a more frequent occurance than female rape in the U.S..

And this post does not even discuss the number of cases of false accusation of rape against men by women. More and more we hear about men who have been in prison for years, claiming their innocence all the while, and them being released after their innocence was proven via DNA testing.

There are many government and non-government resources out there. Throwing out statistics without any proof no longer works.

Men are watching for lying feminists intent on spreading misandry.

And we mustn’t forget the UK organization Rape Crisis, whose purpose is to help the supposedly millions of women in the UK being raped every year because they are not “getting justice”.

Like in Harry’s excellent piece, let’s look at some numbers.

Rape Crisis are claiming that 5% of women in the UK have been raped.

What does this mean in terms of hard figures?

The UK has a population of 60,000,000. This means 30,000,000 of these are male.

Let’s just suppose for a rough estimate that about some 2/3 of these male members of society are old enough to commit rape. (It’s probably more than that, but 2/3 will suffice to make a good bottom limit to Rape Crisis’ claim.)

This means 20,000,000 men in the UK are old enough to commit rape. (Or are a bottom limit to it.)

Now, Rape Crisis, are claiming that 5% of these 20,000,000 men have committed rape. In other words, they are claiming that there are 1,000,000 million rapists in the UK on the loose! (Assuming, of course, it’s not the same serial rapist sneakily evading detection. And this is a bottom limit, don’t forget.)

How does this figure square up with the UK government policy on prison?

Current prison capacity in the UK stands at 90,000. The government want to build another 4 prisons to hold another 6,000 places in all, presumbly to solve our ever-growing crime problem.

But where is the figure of 1,000,000 claimed rapists in relation to the 96,000 prison places soon to be available? And this 96,000 covers ALL crimes and not just sex crime.

In short, Rape Crisis are claiming that there 10 times as many rapists on the loose in the UK than there are currently criminals in prison for all crimes!

This means one of two things:

    1. The UK government does not see rape as a crime serious enough to punish all rapists. Or,

    2. They are aware that the claims of Rape Crisis are deeply flawed or utter lies.

I would say 2 is the more likely here.

  • http://avoiceformen.com/ Paul Elam

Superb piece, Harry. And you have thoroughly debunked the myth that men are better at math than women.

Feminists are such uncanny mathematicians as to turn 1 rape into 100, to make the same money for the same work a 30% wage gap, make isolated cases of childhood sexual abuse 1 in 3 women and the 50% incidence of female relationship violence disappear altogether.

If that is not math wizardry, what is?

Thanks for another excellent piece and for the relentless flow of truth and reason.

I wonder if feminists can be held accountable for their ongoing rabid and insane recommendations they promote on an almost daily basis..

Could a woman sue feminists for recommending that she pursues her career before having children and later discovers that pregnancy ain’t gonna happen because of age ?

Can a woman sue feminists when she discovers that the recommended “women’s studies” degree is even more worthless than a knife sharpening demonstration ?

Can a woman sue feminists for recommending and promoting that here only station in life is being a victim and thereby so traumatic that she is incapable of working full or part time ?

Maybe, the feminist majority may want to start up that fund as I can “feel” something coming on..

Again, Angry Harry provides the real deal, direct from the head. The extent of the corruption of our civil life by feminism and its legions of fellow travellers, all ‘expressing’ their evil selves, is ignored by the great unwashed Brirish public as it is in other Anglophile countries. Harry will not be silenced. And neither will I.

My own recent trilogy of analysis goes to the ‘heart’ to compliment Harry’s head-work. It takes more than a ‘sound-bite’ to gain a proper understanding.

We are a small army of intelligence. We need to grow and speak out. People need to get head and heart around the issues and that takes time and work.

Those who cannot speak can repeat. Post Harry’s work to your local newspaper journalists.

  • Steven DelUCA

After all the work you do sharing your insight and research, don’t apologize for two articles that take 15 minutes to read.

Men and women need to start spending much more time than that to fight those who want to weaken out sons so that we end up with crippled men.

No country can thrive with castrated males who fail to be creative, hardworking and good providers for society and families. It’s a war and we need more warriors like you.
