Males and Seniors Will Lose Under ObamaCare

It is essential to be aware in this time-sensitive brief note that there are three groups whose health will be negatively impacted by ObamaCare. First, all boys and all men will lose. Harry Reid’s behind-closed-doors-deal-busting bill establishes yet five more Offices of Women’s Health throughout the federal government which are on top of at least five existing Offices of Women’s Health and further specifies that none can be combined. Of the most critical importance, however, is the reality that nowhere in Reid’s bill nor in any existing federal agency is there an Office of Men’s Health. By no measure does this represent gender equality in health care.

The second group which will be negatively impacted are all seniors and all soon-to-be seniors (baby boomers) who will carry the brunt of the costs of ObamaCare. Seniors and baby boomers will lose through the elimination of already existing health services caused by cuts to Medicare.

Finally, writing as an old white man, I imagine that my personal Health Rationing Board will consist of President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and The Wise Latina (or their appointees). Thus, it seems fair to ask: Were I and a female of any stripe to come before this rationing panel with identical conditions — would we receive equal treatment?

A very short piece that speaks in an impeccably relevant voice, refreshingly absent of extraneous political rhetoric and focused where it should be, on how policy affects men and boys in this culture.

Where the MRM and mainstream politics cross paths, I wish I saw a lot more of this, instead of what frequently happens, which sadly boils down to someone saying “Men’s rights are great. Now vote for Sarah Palin.”

Thanks for raising the rent, Dr. Finley.

There is another special concern for me. in the calculation of so-called “premiums,” in this scheme.

First understand that actuarially fair health premiums rise steeply with age; old people simple consume more health care than the young.

To illustrate: Suppose the young person really should pay $2, and the old person ought to pay $10, each for their own riskiness. Then it is entirely unfair and inequitable to charge them both $6. That is nothing more than a hidden tax, an outright theft of $4 from the young person, given straight to the old person.

But that is exactly what Democrats are doing. And this hurts men far more than women. The male curve rises more steeply with age; young women have higher costs than young men, while older women last longer and better than old men. So the theft/transfer is worse for young men.

Note that this does NOT end up helping the elderly. What ever goes from the young (of either sex) to the old in this fraud, is more than taken away from the old, and transferred to the new beneficiaries in this scheme – all those now enriched by underpriced, undeserved coverages.

That will make a total of ten offices of womens health. How many do they need?

Under the present domination by women in America this can only be expected, although not accepted.

In Britain breast cancer attracts a lot of attention and money, while the male equivalent of prostrate cancer is very much neglected. A comprehensive screening program for breast cancer is not reflected by any screening program for prostrate cancer.

The male political, social, psychological and long term medical care plan brought to you by Smith and Wesson.

Ten women’s national health centers for the gender that out lived men by a year in 1920 and now out lives men by 6 years and none for men. Makes sense to me in a world that tells us that the “male medical establishment” doesn’t care about women. (Read P.C. MD by Sally Patel – debunks all such nonsense and tells us who benefits most by such lies. = Feminists of course)

Let men pay the taxes and give the benefits to women. Men dying young means not enough labor to provide females rent, food and medicine. Solution one, help males live longer, naw,.. sounds sexist to NOW … can’t do that. Men living longer “retired” and not providing, what a waste. Let the men die so that we don’t waste money on them and write articles about how elderly women STILL don’t have enough $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$nin their old age.

We really should have a law to prevent men from letting women down so often. We could call it “The prevention of men letting women down act” based on how Abe Lincoln abandoned his wife at a young age.

Any one who refers to insurance reform moving through Congress as ObamaCare should be immediately outed as a voice with partisan purpose.

Besides…which bill is ObamaCare? The House? The Senate? The ideas espoused by the White House that do not equate to the legislation already passed by each Chamber?

Give me a break. Your PhD isn’t worth the three letters were granted if you can’t honestly assess the real issues.

Once we know which version of the potential though not final health insurance reform bill, please provide to your readers your sage advice on how to fix the problem you write about so that we can fix the true and serious problems that exist in the health insurance industry under the status quo.

Actually last I checked women have 7 Offices of Women’s Health, six in the Dept of Health and Human Services and one in the Dept of Agriculture.

There is not a single federal Office or organization that deals with physical and mental health of men and boys. Men are left to rot and die. We are simply not as valuable as women…It is men’s job to die so that women may live..Men exist to enable the wellbeing of women…Men and boys are not worth anything to anybody…..

I don’t consider myself an American anymore.
