Dr. Palmatier Joins MND Board of Editors

2010-01-14
By

On behalf of publisher Mike LaSalle and the mensnewsdaily.com Editorial Board I am pleased to announce that Dr. Tara J. Palmatier has accepted a seat on MND’s Board alongside our other esteemed members.

Dr. Palmatier became a featured contributor at Men’s News Daily in September of last year with articles that address the lives of men in intimate relationships. She was quickly lauded by our readers as a highly credible and refreshing alternative to more mainstream offerings of that genre.

Holding a Psy.D. in clinical psychology and an M.Sc. in counseling psychology, Dr. Palmatier has over a decade of experience in delivering direct services to diverse populations in a variety of settings. She is a member of the board of directors of the Hospice Education Institute, a member of the American Psychological Association and a former graduate member of the British Psychological Society.

In relating her concerns about the state of men in western culture, Dr. Palmatier states, “Men are one of our greatest endangered natural resources. Our culture has made them responsible for all that is wrong with the world, the butt of jokes, disproportionately financially responsible for women and children and have essentially told them that their feelings, needs and desires are, at best, tertiary and, at worst, completely irrelevant.”

“Tragically, many men accept these double standards and abuses as normal– especially in their intimate relationships.”

The management and contributors to Men’s News Daily enthusiastically welcome Dr. Palmatier to the editorial board, and look forward to her ongoing contributions toward improving the lives of men and boys.

Paul Elam is the Editor-in-Chief of Men’s News Daily and the Publisher of A Voice for Men.

We are still in the stage of infancy when it comes to addressing the need to improve the lives of men and boys in this new era. I guess you could say this is the start of the men’s movement and the most pleasant surprise leading this movement is the addition of so many great women who have chosen to help the “weaker sex”. So to you Dr. Tara J. Palmatier, we say thank you and we are grateful to have you joining
    the team.

    Dr. Palmatier
Would you mind explaining to new readers the horrors of witch hunts by sc. “therapists” who coaxed children’s testimony and politicans who took advantage of it

While both major parties are all over each other these days for a myriad of reasons, neither one dares to address valid men’s issues in any way that I’ve seen.

FOX News is very critical of all things Socialist, except gender feminism, which is a huge factor affecting the lives of American men. Other networks and news shows either treat men’s lives as a joke, or as a topic of derision.

Obama pushes for more offices, and programs, and services for women, and Hillary pushes for more of the same on an international level.

With such gargantuan dishonesty running amok in our society, Dr. Palmatier is like a fresh, spring breeze blowing back the malodorous effects of an open sewer of public dishonesty (that’s a compliment). To read each of her articles has been a treat. Each one is a gem in its own right. To have Dr. Palmatier on MND’s board is an honor for every reader of MND. I love the quality direction MND is heading. Welcome Dr. Palmatier.

While the good news is that Dr.Tara Palmatier joins in MND editorial board to write on behalf of men, the Lamestream Media still parrots its women “womb/brain” double standard while failing to mention if a woman were a Commander in Chief, she still would be exempted from military draft.
