Women Need to Speak out on Feminism and the Hateful Ideology it Represents

2010-03-04
By

March is Women’s History Month. Time to prepare ourselves for the annual Sista-fest of narcissistic victim-mongering, gleeful male-bashing, and shameless prevarication.

How’s this for breathless overstatement, courtesy of President Obama’s March 2 proclamation for Women’s History Month: “Countless women have steered the course of our history…breaking barriers on athletic fields and battlefields.”

Countless women on battlefields have altered the course of history?

Yes, by allowing a far stronger enemy force to decimate and despoil their ranks! (But count your blessings — at least the president didn’t spell “history” with “her.”)

Obama then deplored the fact that men “still receive higher pay on average for the same work.” That myth was debunked on the Department of Labor’s website, but Obama’s operatives quickly censored the document before any damage was done:

http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/roberts/090312

Years ago the women’s movement stopped working for gender equality and initiated a campaign of intimidation, censorship, and male demonization.

Recently the National Collegiate Athletic Association ran an advertisement on its website depicting a man gently cradling his son with these words: “All I want for my son is for him to grow up knowing how to do the right thing.”

Who could ever get upset over something like that?

The Women’s Media Center, that’s who. The Gender Guerillas got heartburn because the ad was sponsored by the pro-life group Focus on the Family. So last week they forced the NCAA to yank the ad. (Shame on the NCAA for its lame acquiescence.)

Like the beguiling schoolgirl who keeps elaborating on a little White Lie because everyone has stopped listening to her, the feminist claims have become increasingly shrill.

Take a March 2 BBC headline that screamed, “UN Warns HIV/AIDS Leading Cause of Death in Women.” The article went on to claim that “up to 70% of women worldwide have been forced to have unprotected sex.” (Note the red-meat words designed to summon every chivalrous male within hailing distance: “forced” and “unprotected.”)

The BBC article provided few details and didn’t even concede the name of the report. So I set out to search out every nook and cranny of the UNAIDS website.

I never did locate the document.

But according to the UNAIDS, there were two million AIDS-related deaths in 2008, about one million of whom were females. And according to the WHO World Health Report, 8.6 million women die of cardiovascular disease each year.

So is AIDS the leading cause of death for women? Not by a long shot.

And the 70% figure? Well, that number keeps making the rounds every few years.

Four years ago the Washington Times came up with this corker, “A 2005 U.N. Population Fund report found that 70 percent of married women in India were victims of beatings or rape.”

The claim turned out to be a hoax and the Times was forced to retract its indictment of Indian husbands. But keep repeating the 70% number and one of these days it’s going to stick!

One of my favorite columnists, Barbara Kay, recently pondered the lessons from the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. Noting that 75% of women, and only one in five men, survived the hellish incident, she writes:

“According to the feminist mystique, these men should have been controlling, egocentric, self-serving bullies, for whom women were nothing more than sexual and domestic conveniences, little better than slaves. They should all have been candidates for anger management, not a chivalry so breathtakingly selfless that they almost to a man went to watery graves in stoic humility so that total strangers might live, simply because of their sex.”

http://network.nationalpost.com/NP/blogs/fullcomment/archive/2010/03/02/barbara-kay-how-patriarchy-ran-into-its-own-iceberg.aspx

So instead of “fetishing the victimhood of women,” Kay proposes, Why not celebrate the manliness of men on April 15, the date of the Titanic’s sinking?

Such an observance might free ourselves of the foolishness, the excess, and the chauvinism that has become Women’s History Month.

    @ DcFather
“I’ve said it for years and I still believe it. The key to ending the feminist devastation of the lives of men, women, and children is in fact women.”

I have to respectfully disagree with DcFather! The key to ending the devastation of men, women, and children is not women, but men. Why are we waiting for women to step up and fight for us when clearly they never will? The reason feminist have been so devastatingly effective is because men have been so completely silent. There is an old saying that goes “He who is silent is understood to consent” Why are we so shocked that all this is happening when the only one’s talking, and doing, is feminist? Everyone is getting only on side of the story, theirs! If just 10,000 men where to demonstrate on the steps of congress, I promise you, two things would happened:

    1. Congress collectively as a group would soil them selves’.

    2. You would have every Senator, Congressman and yes Congresswoman fighting to be the first to introduce paternity fraud laws or, child support reform.

EVERYTHING feminist say is a lie!! 4 in 1, a lie! VAWA a lie! DV causes, a lie! Yet we stay silent. Our rights are stolen from us and yet we stay silent. Everyday we suffer from (pick one) and still we are silent!!! If every time a feminist spewed these lies, there was a man, or men , with the facts in hand to disprove, and discredit their lies, in 5 years there would be no N.O.W!

And why should women fight for something that we, our self’s aren’t fighting for?
MEN stormed the beaches of Normandy! Men Marched a crossed the frozen lands of Korea! MEN waded though the swaps of Vietnam, and the deserts of Iraq and mountains of Afghanistan!!!! On 9/11 MEN ran in to the towers when everyone INCLUDING women where running out!
We need to understand and accepted the fact that us men ARE NOT helpless, We have just as much power, and just as much right, to speak and to change things as women do! We have just never exercised it. Have you never wondered why feminist are so desperate to keep men disorganized, disbanded and ashamed to be men? They know if we ever came together, we could NOT BE STOPPED. We need to understand that which feminist have known for over 60 years, and that is, THEY can not stop us! They can not defeat us UNLESS WE ALLOW THEM TOO!!!!! And the first step to reclaiming our rights is to regain our pride in being Men. Man is not a 4 letter word. (It’s three actually)

  • Ben

Men drown ourselves on the Titanic because we value the wellbeing, safety and survival of women more than we do ourselves…..Men value ourselves less and women value men less than themselves….This is what feminism uses against us…

Women won’t help men because we simply are not as important as they are and we, men and women both know it….Again women will let us provide and protect them to our graves while still saying we are not doing enough. If we served nothing more than to be eaten by them after mating they would surly consume us….To them we are nothing but a means to an end….

  • Ben

The below is precisely the weapon women will use to kill us with. I am afraid we will use it on ourselves. Our own inner biology telling us that all that really matters is the survival of women.

They are doing it already and yet we say nothing. We are the worker drones providing and protecting them no matter what..We are doing so to our own demise.

We will run this protocol to our own destruction and women will be stepping on us, disrespecting us, saying we are going extinct, “are men necessary” and humiliating us into our graves……..

Enjoy your lives as isolated resource producing males with no rights to be a father to your own children……. We as men are slaves to women and apparently on a large scale don’t even realize it. We are to ashamed to admit it…..

    Regarding the Titanic:

“According to the feminist mystique, these men should have been controlling, egocentric, self-serving bullies, for whom women were nothing more than sexual and domestic conveniences, little better than slaves. They should all have been candidates for anger management, not a chivalry so breathtakingly selfless that they almost to a man went to watery graves in stoic humility so that total strangers might live, simply because of their sex.”

might make a good storyline for a you tube clip for April 15th.

  • keith

The titanic as a metaphor for the family, and how we often book passage believing the family is unsinkable. The ice-burg as calamity is always there waiting to sink the ship. The captain is the family court judge shouting “women and children first” the legislation that interprets “in the best interest of the child” is the lifeboats. If we get on the boat believing it is unsinkable and it sinks more than 50% of the time. Maybe it’s time to check the lifeboats, before you book passage. It’s time to change the policy that leaves men going down with the ship. If they won’t you should.

  • Mr.K

    Paul Parmenter,
Your post of gratitude to Carey Roberts was powerful but needed to be stated. As you pointed out for past 40 years feminist have spewed anti-male attitude, about 60 years since the sinking of the Titanic. Since significant number of victims were lost of buried at sea but about 150 were buried in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Feminists have figuratively spitted on the graves of the men of that age. So the adage “NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED” seems appropriate. Link to Halifax history of Titanic.

    http://www.halifax.ca/history/titanicmain.html

  • Paul Parmenter

Thank you Carey Roberts for this exposure of yet more breathtaking fraud and deceit from the psychotic feminist juggernaut.

Thank God for men like you willing to stand up for the truth; and for the brave promoters of forums like this that give them a voice that others would shamefully deny.

But I seriously doubt if women – that is to say, anything like enough of them – will ever speak out or take action to the extent of turning the tide that is steadily washing more and more men and boys into the sewer. Weakness, self-absorption and cowardice are sadly well-entrenched female characteristics, particularly in the West where women already enjoy enormous privilege and free protection without having to do anything to earn it. They already won life’s lottery by being born with a vagina, and they have no intention of giving up their gains. Women have had 40 years or more to speak out, and yet still there are just a handful of them willing to do so. Most remain silent, quietly acquiescing in their advantages, wallowing in their faux victimhood, persuading themselves that they are hard done by, and finding excuses for not helping men.

The great swathe of women will not come to their senses until some great catastrophe overwhelms them and they are forced to admit how much they rely on the very men they have despised and abused for so long.

The Titanic? Case in point. Women took the seats in the lifeboats without a word raised to suggest that young, virile men with the potential to do great good in the world, should be saved ahead of elderly females who had nothing more to contribute and who would only ever be a burden. Many great men of distinction died in that disaster, and their talents died with them. Yet I have never heard of anything worthwhile achieved by any female survivor.

Children first, yes. But then let men and women EQUALLY face the risks of death. After all, we believe in equality, do we not?

  • DcFather

I’ve said it for years and I still believe it. The key to ending the feminist devastation of the lives of men, women, and children is in fact women. I can understand women wanting a few special privileges, but letting the loony feminists, be they male or female, speak with any credibility for all women, is slowly but surely sink the ship.

Typical new flash: 200 soldiers (all men but that is never mentioned) were killed in an ambush today in Afghanistan, but now to something really terrible, a woman in Atlanta was offended that a mention was made in an advertisement that a father wants the best for his children. What a sick world the feminists have created, and why does any woman, no matter how self-absorbed, put up with it.

  • http://avoiceformen.com/ Paul Elam

    @ Mike M

I have been thinking about that. What I will do for my part is start a blog and petition, write an article and do a youtube video all to launch on Feb. 15th. That gives us 30 days to gain some traction on it.

Of course, I will take any suggestions or help that is offered.

  • Mike M

    To Paul Elam:
I like the idea for Titanic Day. What would you propose to do to start this project?

  • Mr.K

Wikipedia link to Titanic memorial does not work. But it has a link to another page. Also, better name for a new men’s memorial would be “Victims of Feminism”.

    http://www.glts.org/memorials/dc/womens.html

  • Mr.K

    Poiyut,
You make a good points and one remark is historically relevant “. A power and authority traitor males garner and usurp illegitimately in conspiracey with feminism, to enslave their fellow men.”
After the Holocaust those who collaborated with the Nazis against their fellow people were called “kapos”,
similarly men who collaborate with feminazis should be called kapos also.
PS, your name is in red and provides a link to an excellent resources for men. Thank you for your service for fellow men.

  • http://www.standyourground.com Poiuyt

We sold ourselves and continue to sell ourselves cheaply and for free to women, in pursuit of private power and position.

The consequence has been a century long errosion and denudation of of male commonwealth rights, protections and privileges. All in return for nothing.

The so called social progress and human development you apparently see in return, is but a flimsy papering over of the abysimal degeneracy and barbarity inherent to and of the genderist system.

Western society holds in imprisonment, probational, correctional, civil or other coercive institutional order, up to half a billion males. … For nothing more than their maleness.

And for their maleness, western society subjects men either to deprivation from their fathers, from their sons or from their families altogether. That is such that females as mother, wives and daughters are able to economically and financially benefit from male enforced absence.

It is not women whom will reject feminism and its fruits because they are merely limited beneficiaries, and proxxies of elite male lust for unlimited power and authority. A power and authority traitor males garner and usurp illegitimately in conspiracey with feminism, to enslave their fellow men.

No!! Women owe nothing to us for short-selling ourselves and our gender-class into slavery. That would be to shamelessly revisit responsibility on women for what we have done to ourselves.

March is women’s history month. April Sexual Assault Awareness. October- Domestic Violence Awareness. Valentines day is V day for Vagina and Violence against Vaginas. Do not forget Breast Cancer Awarness month (although we hear about it ALL year long while we hear little about prostate cancer during prostate cancer awarness week)

This is one reason Shattered Men and a few other organizations are calling for JUNE to be Domestic Violence Against Men Awareness Month

Shattered Men and Battered Husband Support declared June as Domestic Violence Against Men Awareness Month.

Although most are aware that October has traditionally been recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, it is evident that the focus is always on women as victims and men as the abuser. Shattered Men and Battered Husbands felt we needed to remove battered men from the pack in order to help bring awareness to the hidden half of the domestic abuse victims.

Abuse is not only physical. verbal or emotional that is done one one to each other. Accusing someone of a crime you know they did not do is also abuse. Calling the police to report you have been abused when you have not is abuse. Keeping a parent from seeing their children is abuse not only to that parent, it is also abuse to the children.

As most people know, there are laws prohibiting abuse of a spouse, or a child…but did you know that currently, battered MEN take a backseat?

How can a tiny woman of her stature and her stance abuse you, a six foot, whatever, MAN? That question is one that curls my toes, and springs me back to life, even on the most boring and mundane of days…because that little woman is USUALLY the very one that is feared…accepted, protected, and regretfully allowed to abuse the man that was so willing to protect her in the beginning of a relationship, creating a bond that will be hard to sever no matter what she does to him in her anger.

Today, in all of society, men are being abused, most are pushed by society to accept it, not speak of it, sweep it under the proverbial carpet…some find advocacy, and support groups, and some still are receiving harsh blows of “reality” from family court, justices, and judges granting the WOMAN a restraint when it is the man that needs them. Crying quietly and unseen in rooms locked against these violent onslaughts, because if they come out of them, they could be falsely accused, men are the usual suspect when 911 is dialed, men are arrested on sight.

We implore that you get this out to every person you know…June is Domestic Violence Against Men Awareness Month

One of the loudest voices I hear from women about the evils of feminism is the voice of the Independent Women’s Forum.

    From their “about us”

Founded in 1992, IWF focuses on issues of concern to women, men, and families. Our mission is to rebuild civil society by advancing economic liberty, personal responsibility, and political freedom. IWF builds support for a greater respect for limited government, equality under the law, property rights, free markets, strong families, and a powerful and effective national defense and foreign policy. IWF is home to some of the nation’s most influential scholars—women who are committed to promoting and defending economic opportunity and political freedom.

    http://www.iwf.org/

The IWF has fought the wage gap myth, they have fought against the VAWA and much of the misandry we see in our society. They have also tackled the feminist myths head on.

On the other hand, although it is a “Christian Ministry, I have exchanged several letters with Concerned Women for America

Beverly LaHaye watched a television interview of Betty Friedan, founder of the National Organization for Women. Realizing that Friedan claimed to speak for the women of America, Beverly LaHaye was stirred to action. She knew the feminists’ anti-God, anti-family rhetoric did not represent her beliefs, nor those of the vast majority of women.

In searching the CWA website, I find very little about the VAWA however out of 78 hits on it, I found two in which they quote Edward E. Bartlett, Ph.D., a leading researcher on VAWA and a spokesman for Respecting Accuracy in Domestic Abuse Reporting (RADAR), reports, “The domestic violence industry has been hard at work pushing its slanted message for two decades; the VAWA Mafia seeks to destroy the traditional family and shred the Constitution.”

but this is in contrast to their statement “a May 2000 decision titled United States v. Morrison, the Supreme Court enforced these limits by striking down the Violence Against Women Act, a bad federal law that would have turned local criminal prosecutions into federal civil lawsuits.

So the only problem with VAWA is not that it only protects half the abused at the expense of the other half…but that it “turned local criminal prosecutions into federal civil lawsuits”?

Bottom line, after several attempts to educate CWA I did ask them if they are not enjoying the “perks” gender feminist bring them without getting their hands dirty. I did not get an answer.

As a result, I can fully support IWF…but I can not give support for CWA.

Of course we do see many women right here in MND speaking out against feminism as well as in other areas. Shattered Men has strong support from many women and for these ladies here in MND and in our other Mens groups…..I do thank you so much for your support!

March is women’s history month. April Sexual Assault Awareness. October- Domestic Violence Awareness. Valentines day is V day for Vagina and Violence against Vaginas.

When Sully Sullenberger (sp) thought his plane might sink they put out the call “Women and Children first” – recently in the news a story discussed how we want to save women’s lives to build the population … What? We live in a monogomous culture, equal numbers of men and women surviving would build up the population fastest. Try to imagine what we would think if an old man got on a life boat and left a young mother, and yet old women, far past BREEDING season leave young fathers to drown and we consider women more noble then men.

  • Mr.K

    Paul Elam,
Great idea! Because the Titanic “Lest We Forget” memorial for men who sacrificed for women and children was moved from its original location in Washington D.C.without ceremony to the dustbin of history, another day is needed.
Since 2012 is the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic and its heroic tradition. let’s erect a new memorial for “Survivals of Feminism” that year of 2012. Wikipedia link to inglorious new location of “Lest We Forget” near Fort Mc Nair.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titanic_Memorial_(Washington,_D.C.)

  • http://avoiceformen.com/ Paul Elam

Great article that inspires an idea.

I want to designate April 15th as Titanic Day. Not as a day that commemorates manliness in men, but as a day we take and instructive and meditative pause.

Titanic Day is the day we stop to consider the implications of a man’s life being inherently less valuable than a woman’s. We should encourage all men who are working at jobs that place them at life and limb risk to consider for a moment that they are being exploited.

It can also be a very important day to reach out to our sons and other male youth and let them know that they have other options than a life of sacrifice for women. We should tell them they have as much right to a seat in a life boat as anyone else, and that it is survival, not cowardice, to save their own lives.

We should teach them this in the name of social justice and equality.

Right.
