February 23, 2004 by Tom Adkins Should John Kerry win the Democrat nomination, there will be lots of questions that should be asked. But they won’t be asked. Why? Because the media will protect John Kerry at every turn. So here’s a handy little list of questions to ask Mr. Kerry as he whines and moans his way across America in his quest for the White House. Mister Kerry, I have a question… - Mr. Kerry, you have stated on a number of occasions that our intelligence was the greatest failure in the Iraq war. If so, would you state for the record that since Bill Clinton was fooled by the same intelligence, the United Nations was fooled by the same intelligence, Israel was fooled by the same intelligence, and in fact, you were fooled by the same intelligence…that therefore George Bush was equally fooled by the same intelligence? - Mr.Kerry, you once asked, “Now that [the Cold War] struggle is over, why is it that our vast intelligence apparatus continues to grow…” Then, you spent your entire political career decimating the American intelligence structure. Therefore, will you admit your complicity in blinding our intelligence agencies that missed the long list of terrorist attacks that occurred against Americans across the globe? - Mr.Kerry, you complain the George Bush is “reckless” in our foreign policy. Can you explain the wisdom of ignoring worldwide terrorism and turning our national security over to the United Nations? - Mr. Kerry, if the Iraq war was so wrong, why did you vote for it? Especially when you saw the same intelligence reports that the President had? - Senator, if we find weapons of mass destruction, will you admit you were wrong, President Bush was right, and quit the race for President? - As President, would you tell the 200,000 Kurds, Iranians, and Marsh Arabs that died from Saddam Hussein's poison gas that these weapons of mass destruction do not exist? - Why, Mr. Kerry, would you consider allowing the United Nations to control American security when the UN has a clear record of backing totalitarianism when threatened by freedom? - Mr.Kerry, since the United Nations has completely and utterly failed to stop the spread of nuclear weapons, weapons of mass destruction and terrorism…and in fact has never won a single war…why do you trust them to guarantee American security? - Mr. Kerry, why would you trust the United Nations when they are clearly hostile to American survival? - Mr.Kerry, why do you claim that nations who refuse to help us in wartime are “allies?” And why would you trust them to protect our security? Especially when they have no legitimate army themselves? -Mr.Kerry, you actively campaigned against and voted to cancel 27 weapons systems and reduce funding for 18 other weapons, including the B1 bomber, the cruise missile, MX missile, Trident submarine, Patriot air defense missile, F15 fighter plane, Sparrow missile, stealth bomber and Pershing II missile. He recommended reductions in 18 other systems including the joint tactical air system, the Bradley fighting vehicle, the M1 Abrams tank and the F16 fighter plane. These weapons have made America’s fighting forces the best in the world. Can you explain how eliminating these weapons helps defend American freedom? - Mr.Kerry, over the last twelve years, China has begun exporting nuclear technology and threatening Taiwan. North Korea is exporting ballistic rockets and has an expanding nuclear arsenal. Pakistan has also been exporting nuclear technology to terrorist states. Japan is considering building nuclear weapons. And of course, fanatical Islamic fundamentalism is threatening world freedom. What do you intend to do about it? - Mr.Kerry, if our economy is so terrible, why is every economic indicator soaring to unprecedented heights? - Mr.Kerry, you claim that the Bush tax cuts have cost 2 million jobs. Are you aware that the job losses all came before the tax cuts, and all the job creation came after the tax cuts? - If job loss is such a terrible problem, why has the unemployment rate dropped from 6.2% to 5.5%? - If we are sending high-tech jobs overseas, isn’t that an indictment of our education system? You know…the system Democrats control from top to bottom? - Mr.Kerry, since tax cuts have single handedly created our rebounding economy, why do you want to raise taxes? - Mr.Kerry, our current deficit is about 4% of the Gross National Product. Yet as a Congressman, you were responsible for a deficit that was 23% of the GNP. Can you explain how 23% is less than 4%? - Mr.Kerry, are you aware that spending causes deficits, not tax cuts? - Mr Kery, since your statements on the economy are just the opposite of reality, are you lying or are you simply unaware of the facts? - Mr. Kerry, you testified that our soldiers raped, tortured and killed Vietnamese civilians, they were criminals and murderers, and “not the best.” Can you please identify any of those who performed such deeds? - Mr.Kerry, are you aware that tapes of your anti-American speeches 30 years ago were played to our POWs in the Hanoi Hilton? Are you aware that Senator John McCain was one of those POWs who heard your anti-American speeches while living in the Hanoi Hilton? - Mr.Kerry, do you have an estimate of how many brave American soldiers died because you actively campaigned for tye North Vietnamese Communists? - Mr.Kerry, will you apologize to those brave and noble soldiers you insulted? Especially those whose names are inscribed on the Vietnam War Memorial? - Mr.Kerry, when the Vietnam war ended, the North Vietnamese slaughtered about three million defenseless South Vietnamese. Are you proud that you assisted in that victory? And do you think those folks wished America had committed itself to defeating the communist threat? - Mr. Kerry, you correctly state that the United States lost Vietnam because we failed to back our military and our foreign policy. Now, in Iraq, you advocate changing the Bush policy of 100% committment to a policy of surrender. Why do you want to create another Vietnam? - Mr. Kerry, can you explain how a soldier who served a tour of duty in Vietnam can miss the point of defending American sovereignty? - Mr. Kerry, can you explain how a soldier who served a tour of duty in Vietnam can miss the point of geopolitical strategies? - Mr. Kerry, can you explain how a soldier who served a tour of duty in Vietnam can miss the point of a government failing to back its troops in wartime? - Mr. Kerry, whose medals did you throw over the wall in Washington 30 years ago? - Mr. Kerry, would Jane Fonda make a good Vice-President? - Mr. Kerry, are you aware that Vietnam has been over for quite some time now? - Mr.Kerry, will you accept contributions from foreigners like George Soros, and will you instruct America’s vast left-wing conspiracy to cease accepting such contributions? - Senator Kerry, you have raised more special interest money than any Senator in the last 15 years, even though you chair no committee or significant organization. What favors do you owe? -Mr. Kerry, you behaved heroically in Vietnam, but came home and built your entire career desecrating the American soldier, your service, your nation and your people. Your concepts of national defense have historically led to defeat. Your economic policy has historically caused recessions. Your voting record can be accurately described as anti-American. How does this qualify you to represent America as President? - Mr.Kerry, when you lose, will you please try to avoid letting the door hit you on the way out?
