| Polier Denial: Limbaugh Says Raises More Questions Than Answers John Kerry's Alleged Paramour Issues Denial February 16, 2004
MND Newswire The potential sex scandal swirling around the campaign of Democratic presidential front-runner John Kerry took another twist today. Alex Polier, the young woman at the center of the storm, issued a statement through her former employer, the Associated Press, stating that she never had "a relationship" with Senator Kerry. Kerry has already issued an informal denial of an extramarital affair with Ms. Polier. In a statement that seemed to contradict previously published comments attributed to them, the parents of Ms. Polier also denied the affair. "We appreciate the way Senator Kerry has handled the situation," Terry and Donna Polier were reported as saying, "and intend on voting for him for president of the United States." The statement appear to contradict an article published last week in the London Sun, which quoted Terry Polier, as saying of Mr. Kerry, “I think he’s a sleazeball. I did kind of wonder if my daughter didn’t get that kind of feeling herself. “He’s not the sort of guy I would choose to be with my daughter.” Rush Limbaugh said on his radio program today said that the Polier statement "raises more questions than answers".
