A former Muslim and now self-proclaimed atheist is using his web site
as a recruiting ground for individuals willing to engage in armed action
against American troops in Asian countries.
The web site (www.humiliateamerica.com/cat_campaigner.htm) is looking
for what the writer calls "Cat Militants," individuals "highly
motivated willing to militate against American imperialism and American
occupation of Asian countries (those) ... willing to sacrifice your
life for the self-defense of civilian population in Asia from any attack
from American terrorism (and ... are willing to kick these baby killers
out of American occupied Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Kuwait,
Saudi Arabia, South Korea."
The writer advises potential militants to obtain arms from paramilitary
forces, the police and the army. He says those groups have enough arms
between them "to drive the forces of occupation from your country."
He adds, "American troops also have sufficient weapons ... There
are (also) elements in army of every Asian country who are sympathetic
to our cause. They will cooperate with you."
While the writer advises against "indiscriminate" use of force,
targeting civilians and civilian structures structures, he nonetheless
makes clear what he expects. "Make a solid groundwork for over
throw of your government ... Then jump like a wild cat soon the situation
is ripe; side with anti-American elements of your army to launch a revolt."
He provides guidelines about what to say. "The message should be
that the presence of American troops cannot ensure stability and security
of dictatorships and monarchies in Asia but this will cause destabilization
and end to their rule. As we have seen in Iran, the people's will (sic)
ultimately prevail."
For those interested in becoming militants, the document writer advises
them to first "form a squad of ten youths. Formulate your own strategy
regarding resistance and training.
Lay low, do not participate in any political activity or anti-war protests."
He adds that they should also befriend their country's army and ask
for their help in fighting the American "occupation." They
should also, he says, "procure intelligence from retired army officers
and even you can get real time training through web cameras or multi-media
which may ensure that the identify of such military official remains
secret."
Then, he says, militants should "wait and watch how the people's
agitation against the American military presence in your country runs."
The writer says that theoretical knowledge is essential and offers help
in obtaining it.
"We will provide you some web resources on urban warfare."
According to the document, this action is the only way to prevent Asian
countries from being involved in World War Three. "This might pave
the way for democratization of U.N in which Asian countries will have
a say and may end up hegemony of developed countries to a large extent."
The site www.humiliateamerica.com is registered to a Yang Burz Home
living in India.
According to http://savekashmir.fcpages.com/yang.htm, Yang Burz Home,
born in 1953, was previously known as Mohamad Ashfaq Hussain.
The same document says that Yang Burz Home "felt the ‘need'
to disassociate himself from terrorism that is being unleashed in Kashmir
and the rest of India in the name of Islam." Consequently he changed
his name to Yang Burz Home in the year 1997 "as he felt the ‘need'
to dissociate himself from terrorism that is being unleashed in Kashmir
and the rest of India in the name of Islam."
However, Yang Burz Home still writes under his birth name, using a byline
of M.A. Hussain.
According to the same document, Yang Burz Home was "brought up
in culturally and socially underdeveloped down town Srinagar, (in the
)strife-torn political milieu of the valley misled him to pro-Pak activities.
(He was) jailed for 10 months in 1971 under the Maintenance of Internal
Security Act, joined ‘ Islamic Study Circle' (an outfit (sic)
of Jamat-e-Islamia, Srinagar). Soon after his release, (he) renounced
Islam in 1973 and became an atheist after hot discussions with Jaamat
people."
The web site appears to be hosted by the Pennsylvania based Burst Net,
which in addition to hosting many terrorist sites in the last few years,
also owns www.unrestricted.net, a web hosting service for so-called
adult sites. E- mailed requests for comment on the site to Yang Burz
Home, and the abuse department and the public relations department at
Burst Net, were not immediately answered.
