Snobs Who Suck

by Matthew Benoit

At times, I have the need to write down observations, questions and thoughts in general. I then revisit them at a later date in the hopes of turning them into a column. That is not always as easy as it sounds. At times, the thing that one wants to write about, by the time it is written about, the topic is out of date. At other times, there’s just not a way to lengthen out a basic thought to be a column, mainly because the column would be boring. I have decided to do a column consisting of some thoughts, observations and open questions. Here they are.

Social Conservatives think and act as if they are better than so called Neo-Conservatives. I liken their attitude to that of how “old money” people treat “new money” people. Sure, the old money people will accept the new money people, but they sure don’t want them at their country clubs. Old and new money people both have money, but they are a separate class. Social and Neos are all conservatives, but make no mistake about it, they too are a separate class, just ask the Socials. Not that they will admit their snobbery.

Liberals are not very bright people. For example, they think that they will achieve world peace by standing on the side of the road, holding up signs. They are idiots, no doubt about it.

George W. Bush has let us all down as it concerns the borders. This is not secret, but it has to be said as often as possible. President Bush’s foreign policy, I do believe, will mark him in history as one of the greatest Presidents of all time. But, his policy on the border sucks.

Every time that I see Howard Dean on television, making one of his stupid remarks, I love it. First of all, it reminds me why I would never vote for a liberal and secondly it reminds me of the gift that the Democrats gave us Republicans when they gave the position of Chairman of the DNC to Dean the Screamer.

Coca-Cola is a lot better than Pepsi. One can turn Coke into Pepsi very easily though. Take a bottle of Coke, take the cap off, put the bottle in the sun for about five days, put the cap back on, put the bottle into the fridge until cold and just like that, you have Pepsi.

They say that money can’t buy happiness. That is bullshit. Even if it is true, it sure can buy something that feels just like happiness.

I am always fascinated by people that find cuss words to be offensive. It truly boggles my mind. Although I am trying my hardest to clean up my language, it’s not because I personally find anything offensive about it. It’s because other people do.

Tupac Shakur was a poet. Sadly his life was a waster. He had a great mind, lots of talent and could have been one of the greatest leaders in the so called African-American community. It’s a shame that he had to act a thug to get the attention of the people he was trying to communicate his ideas to, which ultimately ended his life at such a young age. Although I never agreed with so many things that he said, there is no doubt that the man had a great mind and could have been a great leader. How sad it is that his life was ended before he could realize the impact that he could have had on the world.

There is a commercial for Kellogg’s cereal on TV that features a woman walking down a beach. I don’t know who this actress is in the commercial, but I must say, she has a great ass!

I would love it if all the idiot liberals who said they were going to move out of the US if Bush won the election would actually move. Of course, we all know the liberals are a bunch of liars, so we can’t really count on them moving. Wouldn’t it be great though if they did?

John Kerry walked into a bar. The bartender asks him, “Hey pal, why the long face”?

People who only listen to one style of music and say that all other types are awful, are idiots. The fact of the matter is that ninety five percent of all music sucks. About four percent of all music is good and only one percent of all music is great. That is why when someone puts out a great song, they become superstars. Also, people don’t watch movies in this manner. People don’t only watch comedies or only dramas or only horror movies. Why do they do this with music and not movies, or television shows for that matter? It doesn’t make much sense.

Chris Matthews is a lousy interviewer. He asks someone a question and as that person tries to answer he interrupts them, either answering his own question or adding onto the question. Why does he even have guests on? Why doesn’t he just save himself the time and interview himself?

Alan Colmes would disagree with Sean Hannity no matter what the topic is. If Sean said that the sky was blue, Alan would say that it wasn’t. Half the time I don’t even think that Alan believes what he says, instead he just tries to put up a lame debate as not to lose his job. There is no way the man could be that wrong all the time and not be pretending some of the time. He doesn’t seem to be a stupid person, so it has to be an act, right?

While Muslims killed many after hearing about the bogus story of the Koran being flushed, I can’t think of one Christian that has killed anyone over the Holy Bible being mishandled. Kind of makes one wonder about the so called religion of peace we all hear so much about.

Ugly people do not go to college. Although there are a few exceptions to this rule, it is the general truth. This is because rich men almost always marry attractive women. The attractive genes of the mother are passed down to the children and because the couple can afford to, they can send their child to college. Poor men on the other hand, generally do not marry great looking woman. Even if they do, those couples rarely can afford to send their children to college. The truth of this can be found on just about any college campus in America. The kids in those colleges are all great looking, with few exceptions. The exceptions are the kids who are attending college on full scholarships. Possibly the only other exception to this rule is at community colleges. Look at the young adults at community colleges. Not the best looking people in the world, for sure.

The same people that blame President Bush for not acting before 9/11 and therefore blame him for the attacks happening are the same people who blame him for taking too much action in Iraq. These people should be kicked out of the country for being stupid and for being hypocrites.

I have no proof of this, but my gut feelings tell me that while the World Trade Center towers were falling, there were a lot of liberals at home watching CNN, dancing jigs of joy. Like I said, I have no proof of this, just a gut feeling. Sick freaks, the liberals are.

The same people who faked outrage over panties being put on the heads of prisoners in Iraq are the same people that didn’t make a sound over innocent Americans being beheaded. It makes one wonder where these people’s loyalties are.

I have often thought of painting my house with that new glow-in-the-dark paint. I think it would be fun to watch the town officials try to figure out what to do about that problem. It would surely be fun to watch.

People who dismiss someone else’s argument on the sole basis that the person making the argument misspelled a word or two are annoying.

Although we are living in the freest nation on the planet, if we take into account the endless amount of laws on the books, can we truly say that we are free? This is a question, not a statement. Speaking of that, have you ever asked a person a question, and instead of them answering you, that person takes your question as a statement and starts debating you on the perceived statement? Isn’t that one of the most annoying things that a person can do?

One day I was watching Bill O’Reilly and he was talking about the videos on MTV which show to much sexuality. I decided to check out the videos on MTV to see if he was right. I spent three days watching MTV and didn’t see one video. The closest I came to actually seeing a video was during a showing of TRL and the videos that were shown were only clips, and those clips were not even really clips. Instead of the videos, they showed kids screaming about the videos. When did MTV stop playing videos? And where does Bill O’Reilly keep getting the videos he shows on his show, saying they are MTV videos?

I originally started watching the O’Reilly Factor because Bill was passionate. I didn’t always agree with what he said but one could always count on him to passionate about his stance on any given issue. When did he become such a touchy feely “let’s consider all sides” type of person? What happened to the old Bill? I want him back.

NPR sucks. Truly.

The women of Fox News are far better looking than those on CNN. I know that sounds shallow, but what can I say, I’m a man.

Michelle Malkin is a snob. Don’t get me wrong. I think that Michelle is great and I love the fact that we have such a great woman on our side. I have said so in the past many times. She even made my “Great People” list a couple of weeks ago. The reason that I call her a snob is that I have sent her a couple of emails requesting an interview for my website. I thought that an interview of her would be a great addition to my “Interviews” page. She has not responded to either of my emails. All she had to do was to respond to an email and let me know that she did not want to do the interview. I can accept that. But no, not even a response. How rude.

I feel sorry for people who don’t “get” pro-wrestling. They are truly missing out on some great entertainment.

“For example, they think that they will achieve world peace by standing on the side of the road, holding up signs.”

That may be true, but killing people won’t achieve peace either.

“I am always fascinated by people that find cuss words to be offensive.”

I’m really only offended by one word. “F. U. C. K.” but only because of its roots in history. It stands for Fornication Under Consent of the King. In other words, Legal Rape. Check out the movie “Braveheart” and you’ll see a sort of reenactment.

“If Sean said that the sky was blue, Alan would say that it wasn’t.”

Actually the sky isn’t blue, we only PERCIEVE it as blue because of the way our eyes function. Other species on the planet (like cats, owls, dogs, snakes, etc) whose eyes function differently no doubt see something else entirely. Even if we say that we perceive the sky to be blue that would also be incorrect, because at least twice a day the sky is perceived as other colors, such as orange, red, purple, pink, etc. (I thought about including clouds, but sky and clouds are not necessarily synonymous.) ;)

“I can’t think of one Christian that has killed anyone over the Holy Bible being mishandled.”

Are we talking recently? Or can we count history? I’m not going to look it up cause either way, while I’m not certain any Christian has screamed and committed bloody murder over the desecration of the “holy” bible (of which there are billions of easily obtained copies) I do know that Christians are usually the ones behind book burnings and the desecration of other religions artifacts and religious texts. That doesn’t sound like a “religion of peace” to me either.

“The same people that blame President Bush for not acting before 9/11 and therefore blame him for the attacks happening are the same people who blame him for taking too much action in Iraq.”

… What is that quaint little phrase “…an ounce of prevention is worth a punch in the face…” or something like that? Oh and personally? I went home on 9/11 and cuddled with my loved one, called my family and (though I’m an atheist leaning agnostic) prayed for the families whose loved ones were in NY, and hoped for survivors. The first thought in my mind was “What have we done? What have we allowed to happen?” Of course my perspective may be a little unique because my father told me two years before the elections that if Bush Jr became president that there was going to be hell to pay, and what do you know? 9/11. He was a probabilities specialist in the army, so he tends to be right. (Hell, he predicted the Gulf war in ’81 and my teens years were spent listening to him rant about *the bad man in Afghanistan* (OBL)). So I really have no reason to doubt him, he’s been right so many times. I don’t think he’s *psychic* like many OTHER people claim, but I do think he must’ve been damn good at his job.

Your site is pretty amusing at the expense of Dems like Dean, Kerry or even Matthews. It also had a few good cultural insights about tupak, the law and Coke. It's a shame you feel the need to follow the GOP talking points. It reduces you to one of a million mindless shills that can't think for themselves. Does Bush really have such a great foreign policy? Would Kerry's foreign policy be so very different? Why can't Alan Colmes really disagree with the very Pompous Sean Hannity? Is the stuckup Ms Malkin still so very great?
Have you ever considered that the two parties are more similiar then they are different? Get off the talking points, stop preaching to the chior, and start thinking for yourself if you really aspire to be unique and/or original You do show very latent potential
