Weird Politics of Science

By Brad Snyder

The statement that it doesn't matter what you believe, as long as you believe it enough, is the tenet for many in the “Master of the Universe” deliberation. Did something happen from nothing? Did an all powerful, all knowing, all encompassing God create the heavens and the Earth with a purposeful design? Or, Was Al Gore the originator of the cosmos? These are the ostensibly unanswerable questions that seem to have our conductors of scholarship so bewildered and perplexed.

The “something from nothing” crowd currently has the upper hand in our classrooms.

Their claim that Science has proven that a big bang occurred, and by chance the Earth found it’s way for life to happen from a one celled paramecium to a tadpole; then some sort of frog to a monkey; and a monkey to mankind. Yeah, sure…that’s what we should believe and teach our kids. Actually, the Al Gore theory is looking more and more promising. Or better yet, I recall being taught that we were all delivered by that Vlasic Pickle stork, or something like that. It all seems so hazy now.

Fearful people cling to the hope that all of life's mysteries can be unlocked to human understanding. This is the reason science in the West has become the humanist god. There’s a misconception about what science is, and if we don’t find the answers we seek, we can make it because nobody else will know the difference. What needs to be universally understood is that science can never prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that our theories are right. It can show us that an explanation is wrong or incomplete. Thomas Edison is not just responsible for showing us how to make a light bulb, but also thousands of ways not to. We should be ever mindful that any theory, no matter how convincing, may one day be proven wrong.

The problem is, Evolutionists pass their notions as proven scientific fact. Harvard’s professor of geology states “

evolution is as well documented as any phenomenon in science." Yeah, and only in his dreams. The only thing that has been established is that they can't be trusted. Much of what they claim as fact has already been verified a hoax such as their darling “missing link, the Paleontological ape man; a.k.a. the man who never existed.

Let’s toss a few more of their Scientific logs of marvel into the fire of fiction and fraud:

1. Albert Einstein’s theory of relativism: E = mc2. This is one of the most basic rules of physics, that the speed of light, “C” is constant, and doesn't change. This “fact” is now under attack, and there are scientists in Australia who now believe that the speed of light is slowing down. The implications, if proven false, will throw a gargantuan monkey wrench into what scientist currently believe how the universe was formed.

2. Cold Fusion is a name for a

nuclear fusion
reaction that occurs below the temperature required for thermonuclear reactions. This technology is important for the benefits of creating safe optional energy sources. In 1989 physicists announced they successfully accomplished a cold fusion reaction. Some labs attempted the same experimentation and concluded the same results. However most other labs failed. The original accomplishment resulted in a multimillion dollar governmental project, regardless of the fact that the experiment did not require expensive equipment and could be reproduced in a simple lab. The lurking question for Cold Fusion is. . Where is the technology today? The fact is, there is no such thing as cold fusion. The 1989 results were caused by experimental errors. I'm not sure how so many scientists could make the same mistake. Perhaps they wanted it so badly (the money) that they faked the results?

3. Still accepted by politically correct Homosexual fanatics, (meaning, they are pro-homos, not homo themselves) that homosexual behavior cannot be helped, as it is a biological irregularity regurgitated from a “gay gene”. Homosexuality is still widely believed to be an inborn genetic condition, and this is precisely what Dr. Simon LeVey made up. It has been proven to be false, and the public has been deliberately mislead, because this homosexual doctor wanted to justify his own sexual confusion.

Even though proven to be false, the lies are still taught as fact.

4. For many years eggs were forbidden food because of their high cholesterol content. But today, new studies show we can eat one or two eggs per day without measurable changes in blood cholesterol levels. Which is it scientist, eggs or no eggs? I'm not taking any chances. I’m dropping the Lipitor and consuming as much cholesterol as possible.

It’s becoming overwhelmingly clear that if we throw darts at a dartboard, we are more likely to get it right than the god-like scientists who soak up billions of our tax dollars. Their argument to not teach “Intelligent design” is thus: “Nothing in the Bible can be proven wrong, which means that creationism cannot be tested. And if it cannot be tested, it cannot by definition, be a theory, and is thus not scientific. In other words, we teach science in science class. Creationism cannot be scientifically tested, and for that reason, it doesn't get taught in science class. Using their own logic, Science isn’t an exact science either, so let’s not teach it at all.

Actually, I’m for putting all theories on the table. If all of the information on one side of an issue is represented in the classroom such as is the case for evolution, and all of the information on the other side is repressed, this by definition is indoctrination and cannot be considered instruction. Let it be mandated that no issue be left out of the classroom, unless a parent voluntarily withdraws his/her child’s participation. Parents shouldn't need to worry about being undermined when all theories are represented and treated with equal footing. What happened to parental involvement in the classroom anyway? Parents should be concerned with what subjects their children are exposed to and what subjects they want to avoid, such as: multiculturalism and sex education.

If any theory is proven false, it should be tossed out in the bad idea dumpster. If these highly educated and scientifically superior minds can disprove that God has plans for man in his design for the universe, then let them speak up now. I don't want to continue believing a lie. My faith is not in my belief, but in the one whom I believe, and if anyone can demonstrate that there is no God, I’ll be the first to say I've been duped, and Christianity is a ruse.

Speaking of dart boards and monkeys, you were a stock broker. I hear monkeys do better at picking stocks than you educated theives have ever done. Nice work jerk.

two questions...

Do you go by Bradley?

How tough was it playing football at a religous school? Tough competition I'll bet... Did you at least have a win against your sister school? Probably not..

What you conservatives dont understand about Intelligent design is that it is not a theory. A theory by definition has a testable hypothesis, ID does not which is why its not a science and therefore should not be taught in science class. Evolution is not debunked because there is no 'missing link'. You sir are a jackass.

And you must be the missing link!

evolution is not a testable theory, if it is then think of an experiment that can be done to prove or disprove its main points. intelligent design and evolution are equally valid and equally unproveable. the theory of evolution starts with given #1 = there is no God. therefore life must be explained some other way than by creation. this is not a scientific way of approaching reality but a dogmatic way of approaching reality. the true scientist admits that either theory has some good points and weighs the evidence with an objective mind. evolutionists are not objective nor scientists. Physics says that order does not spring from chaos without the input of energy. Evolution may occur at some level, within species but it is not spontaneous and is mostly deadly to a species. therefore, it cannot be very sucessful unless God were to intervene.

In regards to Cold Fusion you state that

"The lurking question for Cold Fusion is. . Where is the technology today? The fact is, there is no such thing as cold fusion. The 1989 results were caused by experimental errors."

If you want to know the latest news about Cold Fusion technology go to http://www.infinite-energy.com/ . These people have done enough research into this that the Dept. of Energy is reviewing their work.
