16-Year Old Arrested in Vitale Murder
Authorities have arrested a 16-year old in the bludgeoning death of Pamela Vitale.
The young man was apparently a neighbor of the victim and her husband, defense attorney Daniel Horowitz.
Internet sources identified the youth - who will be 17 next week - as Scott Dyleski.
While the arrest has not been confirmed by the Contra Costa Sheriff's Department, the Times is reporting that Horowitz has acknowledged providing pro bono legal work for Dyleski over the years.

Horowitz's friend and co-counsel Ivan Golde told the Today show, however, that, Horowitz had no such connection with Dyleski.
"Dan knew the family somewhat," said Golde. "But he didn't really know this kid."
