NEW IRAQ: PEACE FORCES WINNING OVER KILLERS INTERNATIONAL

The facts: peace forces in New Iraq are upping democracy while murderers global are lessening impact. True.
"The number of terrorist incidents in Iraq has dropped to the lowest level since March 2004, defense officials said.
"There are between 40 and 60 incidents each day in the country, they said, sharply down from the terrorist effort in the week of the Iraqi elections in January.
"Even this doesn’t tell the whole story. Of those incidents, roughly half have no effect. This means terrorists launch an attack, but no lives are lost, nor is any property damaged," according to Jim Garamone of the American Forces Press Service.
All the more that the US President George W. Bush’s goals of freedom spread are coming to fruition. It takes time. It takes patience, both of which are desperately lacking with the anti-Bush liberals. Nevertheless, recall the tale of the tortoise and the hare? So it is with most matters worthwhile in an existence fraught with problems.
Liberals live with the illusion that the opposition must create the perfect world yesterday. Yet of course the truth is that liberals can’t produce such a world. Nevertheless, they persist in demanding it of the conservatives. Not fair. But naturally the best way to do in the liberals is simply to keep the course as the President has kept in his first and second terms. Maintain. Steady does it. Keep your eyes on the goal. In the long run. . .
Therefore, in the New Iraq, reports come to us from the US-led Coalition and Iraqi forces that the foes are not ruining the liberties potential. They have not undone those defending the new government. Instead, they are lessening their intrusions day by day.
Further, more and more Iraqi citizens are taking up means by which to do in the enemies. Instead of relying on the outside liberators, they themselves are realizing that it is their country. It’s their future. It’s their National Assembly. It’s their historic January 30 Victory Vote. It’s theirs! So they are signing up for the Iraqi forces, regardless of the risk. And they are maintaining vigilance in the streets.
"Attacks – directed solely against innocent Iraqi men, women and children -- are causing many Iraqis who would not normally care to come out against the terrorists. In contrast to the terrorism, average Iraqis see the security effort as heroic.
"But the key event was the elections. The Iraqi people – battered by Saddam Hussein for a generation – stood up and voted. A people arose from the spiritual ashes of the Hussein regime and took a huge step toward getting back their self-respect."
