GRASSROOTS IRAQIS REPORTING-IN THE ENEMY MORE THAN EVER

J. Grant Swank, Jr.

The third-in-rank among Muslim killers international — Abu Faraj al-Libbi, operations chief for Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda murder machine —is now caught, arrested, done, over and out.

That warns other Islamic slayers to be particularly careful. Their days are numbered.

"’I think that the Pakistani people should be delighted that their security forces have completed such a sophisticated operation,’ Marine Lt. Gen. James T. Conway said. ‘Remember, this guy tried to kill their president twice. He was their No. 1 terrorist, and now their commandos have taken him down and put him behind bars.’

"Conway said that with Libbi now in custody, other terrorists have something to think about. ‘I think it should send a strong message to bin Laden and his followers that you are not going to rest in peace as long as this global war on terrorism is in search of you and your compatriots. We will hunt you to your dying days and either capture you, or kill you if you resist,’" Conway stated to media as reported by John D. Banusiewicz of American Forces Press Service.

Therefore, the latest optimism in New Iraq is that local citizens are becoming more and more vigilant. They are reporting more specifically concerning suspects. They are coming out of the neighborhoods to defend their own dwellings and families. Consequently, the US-led Coalition is getting an increase in reliable tips on Islamic slayers.

Because of the particularly maddening recent Muslim murder spree set loose, peace-loving Iraqis are more determined than ever to see through their democracy planting begun a little over two years ago with Operation Iraqi Freedom’s three-week-win war against Saddam Hussein.

"Any remaining support among Iraqis for fugitive Jordanian terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is fading as his network's attacks continue to take aim at their country's security forces and civilians, the director of operations for the Joint Staff said at a Pentagon news conference today."

US-led Coalition officialdom reports that they are "’absolutely confident’ that if Zarqawi stays in Iraq, he'll be captured or killed.

"’As you might imagine, with a $25 million reward on his head, we get a lot of tips and a lot of rumors of Zarqawi sightings,’ Conway said."

US President George W. Bush has warned America of sacrifices necessary in order to see through the liberty plant in New Iraq. He has asked the citizens for patience and faith in timing. Much has been accomplished in just two years-plus. Much more will be established as the National Assembly becomes precisioned in setting forth its own politic.

Of course, the anti-Bush league has no idea of the concept of patience-in-time. Political liberals want perfection yesterday, yet cannot produce the miracle demanded themselves. Nevertheless, it’s the fuel that powers up the mouth strings of the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry and the Dem nay-sayers pack.

However, apparently the grassroots Red States coalition remains realistic and appraised of the ongoing freedom spread. Mr. Bush remains firm in his convictions. The Republican Party sizes up its forces for patriotism and continues to continue.

With that, the nation appears to have a stronger future for safety and sharing its liberties with others.
