SUPREMES TACKLE KILLING WOMB BABIES ONCE AGAIN

J. Grant Swank, Jr.

Abortion.

The Supreme Court goes at it again. But not till October or later per their calendar.

In the meantime, concern looms over Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist being on the court or not being on the court. Also, if he is not on the court, who replaces him?

Also, if the "nuclear option" goes into process, will anti-womb-baby-killing replacements on the Supremes take over for morality’s sake? If that is so, will an ethical leverage then be in place to halt murdering infants in women’s bodies?

Much is hanging in the balance as the Supremes agree to take on a "state appeal seeking to reinstate a law requiring parental notification before minors can terminate their pregnancies," reports the Associated Press.

Therefore, once again the front burner has on it — lit red hot — that issue which makes or breaks a nation’s standing before God. In the Old Testament there are accounts of pagan nations giving up their offspring to heathen idols.

Jehovah informed His people that they were never to kill their children. Never. That was brought out particularly in the incident of father Abraham mounting Mount Moriah to slay his only son, Isaac. He had the wood ready. He had the son in his paternal tutelage. He had the directive from deity firmly planted in his head.

But when the time came for Abraham to place his son on the altar, thrusting a sword through his young body, Jehovah’s angel stayed the sword. No. There was to be no killing, though Abraham had shown his obedience even to the last second.

Jehovah by that move taught the father of the faithful that henceforth his lineage was never to do away with their children. Murder was prohibited.

Yet in the surrounding heathen cultures mothers offered their boys and girls to the idols, one in particular being Moloch. There Moloch was seated with arms outstretched, flames leaping up through the fingers of the idol. Parents then placed their babies on those fingers, the infants burnt alive.

So it goes in America.

Babies every day are offered on the Planned Parenthood altars for sacrifice unto the pagan gods of this nation.

They burnt alive. They are scalded. They are gouged out. They are sliced through. They are tossed into dumpsters. They are wrapped in plastic for trash haul-aways. They are murdered.

There are those who commit their destinies to the pagan deities. There are those children then who are victims of such vile parentage.

Now the Supremes will wade into one of the dimensions of America’s killing-of-babies-trade with this new investigation into reinstating a statute making it law for parents to be notified before minors can terminate their pregnancies.

"Justices will review a lower court ruling that struck down New Hampshire's parental notification law. The Boston-based 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the 2003 law was unconstitutional because it didn't provide an exception to protect the minor's health in the event of a medical emergency."

Stay tuned.
