CATHOLIC ORDAINED FEMALES = CARNAL REBELLION
J. Grant Swank, Jr.
I don’t mind ordained female pastors. In denominations close to my heart within Protestantism, there are a number of such who are friends of our family.
But when it comes to ordained female priests within Roman Catholicism, questions loom. I first question the spiritual integrity of such women. I don’t believe they have the interest of Christ at heart. I don’t believe they really care about the salvation message of the Christian gospel. I don’t believe they care about anything primarily but their own rebellion.
These women — nine now pressuring the Vatican to recognize them as priests or deacons — must be upstarts of the first order. Only those kinds of personalities would forge ahead now that a new pope is seated in Rome.
Yes, they may be spiritually pure individuals who have prayed and fasted over this ordination move. They may be totally dedicated to the cross of Christ, the holy mission of the worldwide believing community and given to exceptional discipline in living the life of holiness.
But I seriously doubt all that.
Do I personally know the nine? No. Do I really care to know the nine? No. The reason? Because I’ll take my chance on them being just what I have described them to be.
I’ve come upon so many rebellious females within religion down through half a century plus that I can pretty much analyze them accurately without having to get to know them — and thus be repulsed by them.
In fact, though I know female Protestant clergy who are exemplary, I have known my share of liberal rebels female who have gone into the sanctuary pulpit for their own egocentric motives — feminism being a major measure in their so-called vocation.
Some have espoused other politically correct agendas that have been totally contrary to Scripture and thus have done much devilment to the congregations they have “pastored.”
Therefore, when these nine North American Catholic women seeking ordination as priests and deacons next month prance their stuff before the media, I have suspicions grand. They are out to “test” Pope Benedict’s determination to keep to no-female clergy, according to Reuters. With that as a pronouncement, what else can be concluded about their intentions?
Surely they are scoundrels within the religious community who are not truly Catholic nor genuinely Christian. And God knows we have had our share of smart alecks writing their own religion these days, as lately as John F. Kerry and spouse blaspheming the sacrament by receiving the elements while endorsing killing womb babies.
Enough already. Enough.
