ANTI-BUSH MEDIA SLANTS POLL QUESTIONS

That’s how the liberal mainstream media comes out with the public against US President George W. Bush on so many issues. The liberal press slants the questions to bring out the results they want.

Then they report their results on newsfeeds as if they’re gospel truth. They’re not gospel truth. They’re manufactured poll results to slam Mr. Bush while enhancing the liberal agenda.

Herman Cain, Outside View Commentator for UPI, provides a specific read out on this underhanded tactic via The Washington Times. His write-up is appropriately and colorfully entitled: "A Skunk in the Polls."

The bottom line is what rational persons have suspected for a long, long time: that we the grassroots simply can’t believe poll results from liberal newscasters. We did not believe them during the presidential campaign last year. And we still don’t believe them.

Now the latest poll twist regards Mr. Bush’s report on his social security efforts. Liberal press states that the public simply doesn’t buy into any of it, basically. But that’s not reality America. As Mr. Cain points out, the truth is that citizens are behind Mr. Bush’s rational approach to social security. It’s all in the way the questions are asked, in other words.

"The major media outlets have based most of their headlines and stories on their own polling data. The skunk in the polls is that most media outlets are predetermining the results of their polls by asking the wrong questions. They then distort their stories to indicate that the public opposes personal retirement accounts.

"For example, an April 24 ABC News/Washington Post poll asked, ‘Do you approve or disapprove of the way Bush is handling Social Security?’ 64 percent of respondents disapproved, and 31 percent approved.

"An April 16 CBS News poll asked, ‘Do you have confidence in George W. Bush's ability to make the right decision about Social Security, or are you uneasy about his approach?’ 70 percent said they were uneasy, and 25 percent were confident.

"A March 18 Newsweek poll asked, ‘We're interested in your opinion of the way George W. Bush is handling certain aspects of his job. Do you approve or disapprove of the way Bush is handling Social Security?’ 59 percent disapproved, and 33 percent approved."

So whom can we believe? We can believe Fox polltakers. Why? Because they phrase the questions to receivers in such a way that the questions are not slanted anti-Bush.

Fox News/Opinion Dynamics is the tally taker that levels honesty. "The Fox poll is also the only poll that focuses solely on personal retirement accounts, and not on the president or his ‘handling’ of social security," Mr. Cain states.

Note how Fox asks the question: "Do you favor or oppose giving individuals the choice to invest a portion of their Social Security contributions in stocks or mutual funds?"

And what thereby was the public response to that question? Sixty percent said they favored "giving people this option, and 28 percent opposed."

Here’s another Fox question dated April 26: "Thinking about social security contributions, do you think people under age 55 should have the right to choose between keeping all of their contributions in the current system and investing a portion of their contributions?"

And what thereby was the public response to that question? Seventy-nine percent answered in the affirmative while 13 percent answered in the negative.

Prior when I wrote an article accenting this positive approach to Mr. Bush’s attempts to formulate a workable social security plan, I got all sorts of emails saying in short that I was lying. I was prejudiced for the President and therefore had no idea what I was talking about.

These emailers were obviously glued into the biased questions of the liberal anti-Bush pollsters. I was providing information via Fox, hence the variance in perspective.

SEN KEN SALAZAR: PRO-LIFERS = ‘ANTICHRIST’

It reminds me of Muslims calling America "Satan."

Since Islam is a killing-based religion according to its own Koran dictates derived from its own deity, Allah, devotees seek to transfer its satanic content to peace-forging America. Therefore, America has been called "The Great Satan" by Muslim slayers of the infidels, the latter being non-Muslims.

When Jesus, God incarnate, performed miracles while offering salvation hope and love, He was labeled as Beelzebub, that is, Satan, the Devil, the King of The Pit. The Temple guard composed of scheming scribes and Pharisees delighted daily in castigating Jesus’ public ministry. Therefore, in order to convince the public that Jesus was as dangerous as an agent from hell, they tagged Jesus as the demonic.

It appears to be a game that resurfaces when those on the extreme opposite of the spectrum want to smear the opposition. Therefore, with Islam at the end of the killing spectrum, it is advantageous for Muslim murderers global to shout out to the world community that the United States is Satan. All the while, Muslim murderers global act out their satanic rituals by slaying non-Muslims.

Since US Senator Ken Salazar is at the extreme opposite of the spectrum from womb baby defenders, he resorts to like tactics. He calls those who advocate for the unborn "the Antichrist." That should inform the public, he concludes, that he is moral and pro-lifers are immoral. He is righteous and the ones standing up for infants in females’ bodies are evil.

The Antichrist is mentioned by the disciple John in his New Testament letters. He refers not only to the Antichrist but also to "the spirit of Antichrist."

Further, the Antichrist as defined by Bible scholars as the symbolic "beast," particularly in the Book of Revelation, chapter 13. There the beast is interpreted as a satanic political leader who will engulf the planet in the End Times with a demonic religion, the latter symbolically noted in the Book of Revelation, chapter 17, as "the whore, Babylon."

Therefore, for the Senator to call pro-lifers "the Antichrist" is to mean that the infant defenders have the spirit of the demonic as well as are the forerunners of the arch demonic political leader who will bring upon the Earth unbelievable deceit.

The Senator stated in particular that Dr. James Dobson’s evangelistic organization, Focus on the Family, is "the antichrist of the world." Focus on the Family is known for its theologically conservative positions. With its biblical base, Focus on the Family ministers to those caught up in abortion situations as well as defends the Scriptures’ position against killing unborn infants.

However, the Senator’s rage went beyond Focus on the Family to include any like-based biblical messages that advocate for womb babies. He used Dr. Dobson’s ministry as his prime example of such demonic inroads. He stated that all such endeavors are attempting to "hijack the American government," hence they are from hell.

THE BIBLE AND ABORTION

It is alarming to realize the nonchalance on the part of many concerning abortion. But it is not new. A popular newsmagazine quoted one medical opinion: "Abortion is finding its place as a perfectly acceptable and valid health measure. We no longer think of it as a crime."

There are those who say that every woman has a right to control her own body. That is true. Then, having control over her own body, she should not become pregnant if she does not want children. That is control! When she becomes pregnant, then she has lost her control over that situation.

But more importantly, only God has final rights to any person's body. He brought that body into life and someday will take that body out of life. In the meantime He provides the very sustaining power for the body's life to continue.

The Bible speaks of a fetus as a person, not simply tissue that can be discarded if found to be a bother or nuisance. Since the fetus is a person from the moment of conception, then the destroying of the fetus is killing a person. "In the past, some people have mistakenly speculated that perhaps the body might be in the process of formation for some time, and then 'God breathes a soul into it.' They had it backward. The life that is present forms matter into a body for itself' (Joseph Breig, "Life Forms Matter," The Catholic News, Jan. 24, 1974, p. 8).

"Your hands shaped me and made me. Will you now turn and destroy me? Remember that you molded me like clay. Will you now turn me to dust again? Did you not pour me out like milk ... and knit me together with bones and sinews? You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit" (Job 10:8-12 NIV).

"Before I was born the LORD called me; from my birth he has made mention of my name...and now the LORD says--he who formed me in the womb to be his servant..." (Isaiah 49:1, 5).

"The word of the LORD came to me, saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations’" (Jeremiah 1:4-5).

In the following passages we note that personality is ascribed to the unborn.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that fully well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be" (Psalm 139:13-16).

"Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him" (Psalm 127:3).

Exodus 21:22-25 relates how Israel was to judge a circumstance relating to the death of the unborn: "If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, wound for wound, bruise for bruise."

All of the latter deals with unintentional hurt that comes to a pregnant woman; how much more will divine penalty come upon those who intentionally discard the fetus? The Gospel of Luke ascribes personality to the fetus within Elizabeth: "When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit... As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy" (1:41, 44).

Mere tissue does not leap for joy; only personhood leaps for joy. The Bible regards the fetus as having personality. In Galatians, Paul speaks of himself as a person while still in his mother's womb, but more a person consecrated by God for a holy mission (compare Jeremiah 1:5 for the same accent): "But when God, who set me apart from birth, and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles..." (Gal. 1: 15-16).

Since the Bible regards the fetus as personality, then the aborting of the fetus is murdering personality.

Some verses from Scripture dealing with murder are then appropriate for study, such as Genesis 9:6: "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man."

Also, read Exodus 23:7: "Have nothing to do with a false charge, and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty."

Note I Peter 4:15: "If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer..."

"For all the talk of freedom and self-determination, the abortion movement is at its heart a movement denying rights to a silent segment of humanity and soliciting public sanction, support and subsidy to its own cause" (Donald P. Shoemaker, ABORTION, THE BIBLE AND THE CHRISTIAN, Hayes Publishing Co., 1976, p. iv).

MUSLIM CAIR WEB SITE SAYS ISLAM = PEACE

"Americans Don't Understand Islam" is the headline provided by its source, "The Battalion," appearing on Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) web site: http://www.cairnet.org/default.asp?Page=articleView&id=36642&theType=NB.

Ignoring the Koran dictates from Allah to kill all non-Muslims for the latter are infidels, CAIR preaches that Islam is a religion of peace. Yet the Koran reads:

47:4, Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens.

48:13, And if any believe not in Allah and His Messenger, We have prepared, for those who reject Allah, a Blazing Fire!

48:29, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other.

69:30-37, (The stern command will say): "Seize ye him, and bind ye him, And burn ye him in the Blazing Fire. Further, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits! This was he that would not believe in Allah Most High. And would not encourage the feeding of the indigent! So no friend hath he here this Day. Nor hath he any food except the corruption from the washing of wounds, Which none dolis eat but those in sin."

Slowly but surely the United States is getting the killing creedal base of Islam.

Even CAIR admits that: "A nationwide poll from the Council on American-Islamic relations found that one out of every four Americans believes that Islam teaches children to hate, does not value human life and is the source of a nationwide conspiracy to take over America. Furthermore, the poll showed that nearly half of all Americans support restrictions on the civil rights of Muslims."

CAIR then bemoans the reality that America does not endorse Muslim culture and religious beliefs. Yet CAIR calls the American understanding a "broad misunderstanding."

CAIR exists to propagate a lie. Its web site evangelizes on behalf of repeated untruths. CAIR chapters throughout the country exist to convert Americans to believe that Islam is a good thing. The more Americans come to realize the bald truth about this murdering cult, the wiser the people become in dealing with Muslims in local communities.

CAIR bemoans that "the nation’s intellectual pundits and leaders have no problem. . ." holding to "erroneous thinking." Then CAIR posits popular writer and political analyst Ann Coulter as one of the fools duped by the anti-Muslim advocates.

"Not surprisingly, Ann Coulter, a political pundit, was glad to fall into the trench of bigotry and hatred. According to Coulter's blog, ‘We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity.’ When asked if she converted her Muslim ex-boyfriend to Christianity, she told Time Magazine, ‘No, I was just happy he wasn't killing anyone.’"

CAIR cannot tolerate truth; CAIR is founded on deceit. Therefore, when an Ann Coulter represents uncompromising truth, CAIR blasts her as a lunatic columnist.

CAIR’s web site declares: "Islam is not a violent religion. The men who commit atrocities such as the Sept. 11 attacks are heretics to their own religion. They are (not) representative of the Quran."

Not representative? Note from the so-called holy book of Islam:

2:191, And slay them wherever ye catch them.

4:84, Then fight in Allah’s cause.

4:141, And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumph) over the believers.

5:33, The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter.

8:12, I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them.

8:17, It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah.

BUSH WINS OUT ON OIL PRICES

Dems block US President George W. Bush’s energy legislation in the Senate. They have hindered progress now for nearly four years.

That’s Dem typical: destroy, damage, delay. America gets the muddy message loud and clear and is not at all pleased with the Dem drag.

Nevertheless, Mr. Bush continues to continue. For that, the Republican administration moves forward. Now we have, according to Reuters News headlines: "NYMEX oil ends below $50 on ample supply."

The April 29 dispatch elaborates: "NYMEX crude for June delivery ended below $50 a barrel on Friday amid signs of a slowing U.S. economy and with ample supplies of oil available for gasoline refining ahead of the summer driving season. June crude dropped last traded down $2.27 at $49.50 a barrel."

Mr. Bush stated in his press conference telecast that his team "is doing everything we can'' to bring down gasoline costs. He realistically informed America that he cannot assure immediate "drive down" in price; nevertheless, he is doing all he can do.

Days before his address, Mr. Bush conversed with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Abdullah at the Crawford, Texas, home at which time the two leaders focused on oil prices.

With that as an example of Mr. Bush’s communication with other nations, he informed the press that "we will continue to encourage oil-producing nations to maximize their production," according to Mark Shenk of Bloomberg.com in New York.

The President also assured the public that his administration is seeing that in America "we’ll protect consumers. There will be no price gouging. . ."

In addition, Mr. Bush reminded his audience that he is still working on "developing new sources of energy" here at home. Yet the Dems continue to gouge his every move, characteristic of their ongoing unpatriotic agenda to undermine the nation.

LESBIAN METHODIST PASTOR BLESSED AS OK BEFORE GOD

Apostasy continues.

It’s the church founded upon the preaching and teaching of holiness itinerant evangelist and Anglican priest, John Wesley. The United Methodist Church states this Friday that the lesbian pastor can now consider herself blessed by God in her ministry throughout that particular Protestant denomination.

Previously Irene "Beth" Stroud had been defrocked because of being a practicing homosexual. Now she’s no longer defrocked but elevated to esteemed pastor of the flock.The United Methodist Church went public today in its release to the media. "’An appeals committee has reversed a clergy court verdict in the case of Irene Elizabeth Stroud,’" the statement read according to Reuters News.

The vote was 8 to 1 in favor of Pastor Stroud’s lifestyle being compatible with Christian ministry and witness. Of course, that vote is a further sign of apostasy within the church worldwide. There is growing a disregard for the divine revelation in favor of relativism in moral teachings.

Instead of accepting the historic understanding that the Bible is the eternal Word, mortals today are writing their own religion and labeling it "Christianity."

That was seen within Roman Catholicism particularly during the last presidential campaign as John F. Kerry received the sacrament of communion while endorsing issues contrary to Scripture. There were those so-called Catholic clergy and laity who publicly cheered the Kerrys as they received the sacramental elements during a convening of worship, particularly when receiving the sacrament at the sanctuary near their Boston dwelling.

Protestantism is having its own heyday of obstinacy concerning Christian doctrinal disregard. The mainline denominations championing practicing homosexual lifestyles as God-blessed include the Episcopal Church of America, United Church of Christ (Congregational), Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and Unitarian-Universalist Society.

Now this evil intrusion has taken hold within the United Methodist Church, though the annual conference last year opposed the denomination taking such a stand.

"A lesbian Methodist minister defrocked last year for openly admitting to living with another woman has won her appeal against the church's decision, the United Methodist Church said on Friday.

"A statement on the church's Web site said a committee hearing the appeal by Elizabeth Stroud in Baltimore reversed the ecclesiastical court's December decision that stripped her of her credentials as a minister at the First United Methodist Church of Germantown, Philadelphia."

US: BOLSTER FREE TRADE AREA OF THE AMERICAS VS CUBA-VENEZUELA TIE

While US attention centers on New Iraq, Afghanistan, the Middle East and other points East, there’s a dark cloud forming right under America’s nose. It’s Cuba kissing up to Venezuela, hugs-and-kisses mutual amorous.

If America is asleep on this matter. peril could loom.

According to Reuters’Anthony Boadle, "In the last five years, Venezuela has become a vital economic lifeline for Cuba's cash-starved government, partly filling the void left by the Soviet Union's collapse with vital supplies of oil on very favorable terms."

There were all sorts of eatery celebrations attending the politic nuptials between the two countries’ heads of state. Speeches ad infinitum delivered with Castro’s Fidel Castro holding forth at the podium, per usual. But what was the backdrop to all this festivity is the strength derived from these two nations intent on undoing America’s power presence in this hemisphere.

Castro proclaimed loudly and clearly that the Free Trade Area of the Americas is dead, done, over and out. America admits that FTAA surely needs some bolstering. If that is reality maximum, then on with the bolstering show. Soon. Like now. No time lag. No denial.

"Oil exporter Venezuela drew closer to Cuba on Thursday by establishing subsidiaries of its state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and a government bank on the Communist-run island.

"Presidents Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, who are seeking to build an alternative to the U.S.-backed Free Trade Area of the Americas -- from which Cuba is excluded -- attended the launchings in an upbeat mood.

"’We are very pleased. This is a historic day,’ said Castro, 78, dressed in his customary military uniform. Said Chavez: ‘We have been building this brick by brick, like a house.’"

The two nations’ heads of state are concluding that America is too preoccupied elsewhere, particularly in warding off Muslim killers international to take care of crucials right up against America’s own doorstep.

Take Warning: America.

America needs oil. America needs oil producing countries’ cordiality.

India and China forge new ties. Russia and China forge new ties. Now Cuba and Venezuela forge fresh ties. These nations are out to set America off-balance in planetary power strategies. They are not content to sit idly by while the most powerful nation on Earth continues to continue.

Of course, Muslim leadership is intent on doing in America. However, New Iraq is a proving ground for democracy planting in a previous Muslim dictatorship. Afghanistan likewise.

Yet now we have a front piece just begging for America’s scrutiny — in-depth: Cuba and Venezuela.

"Castro declared the FTAA dead in a three-hour speech in which he said the U.S. proposal for a single free-trade bloc of the Americas was an ‘anexionist plan’ aimed at plundering Latin American resources.

"’What's left of the FTAA is just pieces, bilateral agreements,’ Castro said of the hemispheric free-trade plan, which has met with growing resistance in Latin American societies disillusioned with the promises of free-market capitalism."

No time to waste, America. No time to waste.

BUSH WINS ON BUDGET!!!

It was crucial that US President George W. Bush win out in Congress regarding his budget. He did it!

"’With a budget, we are far better off than without a budget,’ said House Budget Committee Chairman Jim Nussle (R-Iowa)," reports Jonathan Weisman of the Washington Post.

The House vote came through with 214 to 211 in favor. The Senate vote with 52 to 47 in favor. Congrats to the President.

"Under the hard-fought agreement, the federal deficit, which reached a record $412 billion in 2004, would fall to $383 billion in 2006 and $211 billion by 2010. Congress would be expected to shave $35 billion off the growth of entitlement programs through 2010, the first such savings since the 1997 balanced budget agreement.

"Nearly a third of that total would come from Medicaid. At the same time, the budget makes room for $106 billion of tax cuts over five years, $70 billion of which would be protected from a Senate filibuster.

"’The essence of this budget comes down to whether we're going to stick our children and grandchildren with a government they can't afford,' said Senate Budget Committee Chairman Judd Gregg (R-N.H.)."

It just makes sense. And Mr. Bush parlayed his ‘making sense’ to the Congress with lawmakers stepping up to the reality.

"The budget resolution was seen as a must-win for President Bush, who has proposed a range of budgetary changes to trim the federal deficit and make room for his tax cuts.

"The budget deal. . .will allow Congress to pass Medicaid curbs, oil drilling, tax cuts and other controversial measures with a simple majority in the Senate rather than the 60-vote majority needed to overcome a filibuster."

Wonderful. At last Congress may be able to get hold of the instruments by which a needed item can get through the body to enhance America.

AMERICAN GRASSROOTS: TELL PARENTS RE PREGNANT TEENS / ABORTION

It’s just there. It’s what one would hope for America. It’s a return to America as it should be. It’s the historic American parental concern for children, their own sons and daughters.

The FOX News poll (conducted by Opinion Dynamics Corporation, the latter calling 900 registered voters on April 25-26) reports that the citizens of this country support "laws requiring parental notification and parental consent before females under age 18 can have an abortion."

Planned Parenthood went on record this week by informing media that requiring such laws is an endangerment to adolescents’ health and a misuse of legislative powers. If that is not another in-your-face definition of PP’s blatant disregard for baseline morality and common sense, I don’t know what is.

Yet once again PP is predictable. Therefore, no surprises when they continue to dish up illogic and venom in the face of reason and sound ethics. PP exists to kill babies and biblical morality, the traditional home and parental authority. PP exists to propagate evil in all varieties of venues. PP exists primarily to murder — not only womb babies but all that is decent.

The poll reports: "Over three-quarters (78 percent) of the public think young women should be required to notify at least one parent or guardian before having an abortion and 72 percent support requiring permission from at least one parent.

"Overwhelming majorities of pro-lifers support parental notification (95 percent) and parental consent (93 percent).

"And though it is by much slimmer margins, majorities of those saying they are pro-choice also back parental notification (64 percent) and consent (55 percent)."

That is exceptionally interesting to note: Even those who claim to be for killing babies in females’ bodies yield 64 percent who state that parents should be told about a possible abortion upon the child. Somewhere in that pro-killing population is a smidgen of conscience for what’s right. A smidgen. That’s a start, maybe.

AMERICA SAYS BUSH OK ON SOCIAL SECURITY

"Most Americans favor giving individuals the ‘right to choose’ between keeping their Social Security contributions in the current system and putting a portion in an investment account," reports Dana Blanton for FOX News polls conducted by Opinion Dynamics Corporation, the latter calling 900 registered voters on April 25-26.

Though liberal newscasters are tending to blast Bush’s efforts regarding Social Security revamp, the FOX News polls give the latest read out on America’s reasoning through this agenda item. The grassroots response is encouraging while the liberal mainstream media remains out of synch.

The President has continually accented that he is open to everyone’s ideas — the general public, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, whoever.

In other words, he has stated repeatedly that this is a new item on the nation’s agenda and needs to be explored by as many minds as possible. That’s why he made his historic tour throughout the country on behalf of Social Security. He was sincerely inquiring about what to do about Social Security.

Nancy Pelosi just had to put in her snide remarks on Wednesday evening’s national newscasts. She put down the President as if his tour meant nothing worthy, hoping that he’d return to the tour trail to produce disappointments major.

Of course, that’s typical of the Dems who know nothing but nay-say and put down and destroy destroy destroy. May America note that Ms. Pelosi did not state one constructive suggestion regarding Social Security when the microphones were pressed to her face. Typical of Dems. Rant they are up to. Rescue they know nothing of.

Mr. Bush has given the warnings regarding present-tense Social Security programming. We’re running out of money in due time. The system was workable once upon a time. It won’t be workable in the future. Therefore, a wise, prudent politic does something to rescue the situation.

Mr. Bush puts forth his ideas. He asks for others’ ideas. The public apparently believes his sincerity in their thinking responses to the latest poll.

"Overall, fully 79 percent of the public think people under age 55 should have the right to choose between keeping all of their Social Security contributions in the current system and investing a portion of their funds. That support goes up to 84 percent among respondents under age 55.

"More generally, when Social Security is not mentioned, most Americans say they trust themselves (77 percent) over the government (15 percent) when it comes to making retirement investment decisions."

HARRY REID CALLS ON GOD’S MIRACLE TO SAVE DEMS

If that’s not bringing religion into politics, I don’t know what is.

Dem Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid did it. Mark it down. It’s said. It’s done. It’s an acknowledgement that God and Congress can mesh, that is, if the Congressmen behave themselves.

But the Republicans don’t count on God to answer Reid’s prayers. That’s why the Republicans keep praying their own petitions heavenward. They believe that they are on the moral side of God while the Dems continue to slice through God’s explicit divine revelation.

So — make up your own mind, moral America. It’s your political right. It’s your freedom of choice. Make up your own mind when it comes to God and Congress. You, the ethical base to this nation, know enough about the Scriptures and everyday living to make up your own mind about what God does respond to with miracles and what God abhors and thereby punishes.

I recall Moses receiving the Ten Commandments atop Mount Sinai. Then he descended the mount to the valley where the people were sinning. With that, both God and Moses went ripping into the backsliders, bringing some of them to their deaths. Why? It’s obvious. They sliced through God’s expectations for holiness. They paid the price.

So it is that though Dems call upon God for a miracle, according to God’s consistency of not changing His holy nature, He can’t answer until the Dems line with His divine revelation. The Red States know that. The genuine Christians know that. So Reid can claim a miracle for the Dems till he’s blue in the face; but it won’t happen until he gets in line with the divine expectations.

Therefore, when Reid, according to Charles Hurt of The Washington Times, told the world via the Senate floor that it would take a miracle for Dems to get the votes they need to do anything, he confessed God, miracle potential, and the Judeo-Christian heritage of these United States — all in a flash.

"Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid raised a few eyebrows yesterday on the Senate floor when he said it would take a ‘miracle’ for Democrats to win enough races next year to take back the Senate.

"’I would like to think a miracle would happen and we would pick up five seats this time,’ he said during a floor debate over the filibusters of President Bush's judicial nominees. ‘I guess miracles never cease.’"

Well, with that direct quote, one can realize that Reid is not only frustrated about the Senators not tallying enough ammunition to put to flight the Republican might. He also stated that he actually believes in miracles, though he does not envision one blessing the Senate Dems in present-tense.

I have to congratulate Reid on two things: first, he stated his belief in a miracle-working God. Second, he acknowledged his own Dem party does not measure up for a miracle at this time.

"Republicans were delighted by what they called an ‘admission’ from the highest-ranking elected Democrat in the country.

"’After listening to Senator Reid's political spin about judicial nominees for the last several weeks, it is good to hear him come back to reality -- if even for a brief moment,’ said Brian Nick, spokesman for the National Republican Senatorial Committee. ‘Senator Reid can do the math: A Democratic Party, plus no ideas, plus obstruction, plus over-the-top partisan rhetoric equals continued minority.’"

Yes, there you have truth spoken clearly. Nick stated the bald reality. Dems won’t get the divine intervention until they quit working daily against pro-life, biblical morality in marriage, the biblical definition of sexual practices, euthanasia, God in American life, the truth of the biblical backdrop in early America and the Christian sacraments.

Dems have championed. . .

• killing womb babies,
  
• making the United States a secular nation like unto European culture,
  
• supporting practicing homosexual lifestyles as a divine blessing,
  
• killing off the helpless and worn,
  
• keeping the divine out of the marketplace via their misinterpretation of "separation of church and state,"
  
• declaring that America’s beginnings were not Judeo-Christian based,
  
• and desecrating particularly the Christian sacrament of communion by receiving the elements while at the same time thumbing their noses at the Christ of the sacrament.
  

Now that’s quite the Dem conversion experience that has to come about if Dems are even going to get the attention of the miracle-working God. They have His attention all right, for God is attentive to all things everywhere. However, His attention includes being on the side of divine wrath against evil doers, exactly where the Dem party stands at present.

Until the Dems confess their sins, repent of their stubborn anti-God ways to start lining up with the God ethic of Scriptures, they can continue to claim their beliefs in miracles all they want, but the miracles won’t come their way.

Period.

PRESIDENTIAL NEWS CONFERENCE: BUSH ACCENTS FURTHER BOLTON SUPPORT

In his address to the American public this evening, US President George W. Bush gave added accent to his without-doubt support for John R. Bolton.

Mr. Bush made two particular emphases. One was that the United Nations needs radical change. He stated that we all know by now that there is an urgent press for the UN to have a complete overhaul. The issues are numerous. Therefore, with the US still an integral part of the UN proceedings, it is imperative that America does all that it can do to see improvements at the Manhattan edifice.

In other words, it’s not enough for America to criticize the UN for one weakness or another. There has been plenty of that complaining going on for years, particularly by patriotic Americans who wonder at times whether the United States should permanently move its membership out of the world community conclave.

The President stressed that America must stay in the UN, but stay with the intent of changing the UN. There is hope for the UN if there is renovation of its programming and perspective. The President has promised to do his part to involve America more in that endeavor.

With that in mind, Mr. Bush then underlined his ongoing support for John R. Bolton. He stated that "John has been asked questions about how he handled business regarding the United States Senate and he’s given very good answers.

"He’s a seasoned diplomat. He has been confirmed by the United States Senate four times. Mr. Bolton can get the job done at the United Nations.

"It makes sense to put somebody sensible and smart and confirmed four times as ambassador at the UN. The UN needs reform. It makes sense then to put somebody who is skilled at the UN.

"Mr. Bolton is an impressive fellow. The UN has had some problems that we have all seen. It it is to be affective, the UN has to clean up its problems. We need somebody from the US who will be straightforward about the issues."

In other words, Mr. Bush regards Bolton as a like persona who will get things done, forge ahead and not simply sit at the UN as a trophy piece.

What Dems are particularly afraid of in this matter is that Bolton will in fact accomplish much. That would be under the Bush administration. Dems don’t want that. They would rather dud out at the UN than see needed change while Republicans are in power.

That’s the bottom line as to the Dem delay on the Bolton passage. It’s political. It’s not Bolton’s personality. His personality is keen and decisive. Dems don’t want that for Dems are wafflers and uncertain. They are destroyers and nay-sayers.

What America needs is a Bush-like presence at the United Nations. Bolton is just that. Therefore, the sooner his approval to the UN, the better for America, the better for democracies around the world.

HENRY WAXMAN: DEM SPEWS HATE SPEECH VS BUSH: TERRORISM

Dem hate speech continues today.

The US government put forth its yearly report on terrorism, calling killers international a "significant threat," according to Elite TV reporter Brad Kurtzberg.

However, the State Department did not release particular statistics. This has irked a certain Dem from California, namely, Congressman Henry Waxman.

He claims that Mr. Bush is an outright coward in not reporting specific figures. Mr. Bush does not dare report the tallies because the Bush administration is in arrears in combating killers international, Waxman contends. In other words, the President of the most powerful nation is lagging. He’s not up to par. He can’t do the job. Murderers global are far ahead of the Oval Office.

"'In effect, your decision to withhold the data this year eliminates this vital check on the veracity of the administration's claims,' Waxman wrote.

"'The large increases in terrorist attacks reported in 2004 may undermine administration claims of success in the war on terror,' he wrote. 'But political inconvenience has never been a legitimate basis for withholding facts from the American people.'"

As I read that I was particularly irritated because of the worn hate speech syndrome rearing its ugly, illogical, unpatriotic head once again.

Does not Waxman recall that when Mr. Bush instituted Operation Iraqi Freedom, it was the American Democratic Party that cut him off at the knees daily, John F. Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Barbara Boxer and like ilk leading the way? Mr. Bush was attempting to begin an American campaign to guard the nation against terrorists while releasing human beings from terrorist despotic regimes.

As Mr. Bush worked night and day with a few freedom countries to establish the US-led Coalition to plant a democracy in Iraq, while at the same time warning other nations harboring terrorists that their hideouts would not be tolerated, Dems swarmed around Mr. Bush with political threats. The liberal media mainstream backed up the Dem tawdry deliveries.

There was no let up.

As European so-called leaders lagged in their assistance to spread freedoms elsewhere, Mr. Bush continued with the evangelistic liberty message. Many times he stood alone with his Republican colleagues. Many times it appeared as if the President, in seeking to protect his own citizens while warding off terrorists wherever they staked out claim, was manning a freedom ship with few allies.

And now Waxman points a finger of accusation at Mr. Bush? Now Waxman dares to state the President is not up to task and thereby is cowardly in not reporting statistics on current anti-terrorist efforts because he’s ashamed of the report?

If Dems and European heads of state had immediately come to the aid of the freedom spread back then, terrorism would have been dug under long ago. Of course, it would not have been in full retreat, but patriots of all liberty nations lost valuable time because of the likes of Waxman and his Dem wafflers.

Where were the Congressional Dems when Mr. Bush was pleading for support against terrorism? Where were the evening newscasters when the leader of the most powerful country was asking for public encouragement, for news feeds educating the nation of the terrorist danger?

Dems and mainstream reporters were castigating Mr. Bush, attempting to profile a fool of his administration, and putting the Republican Party in the Shame Box.

It is a disgrace that Waxman was reported in the news today. It is a travesty that he received any noticed regarding his discourtesies against the President.

Nevertheless, the comfort that Republicans can take in all this display from both Waxman and the reportage attending him is that thinking public will get the truth message that Dems have totally lost their manners, their moral way, and their patriotic standing in America.

NORTH KOREA GASSES ITS OWN

CBC News reports that North Korea gasses its citizens.

A 55-year old chemist said that he was overseeing experiments on human beings, trying to find out how efficiently a deadly nerve gas would kill off political prisoners.

"’He said he was involved in the killing of two people – one who did not expire for 2½ hours, and the second didn't die till 3½ hours had passed.’"

So it goes in North Korean, according to a human rights organization monitoring such atrocities global. The organization is known for its precise studies of criminal acts, dating back to the Nazi war criminals.

Now it is focusing in on North Korean mistreatment of its own people. There are indications that such, including gassing humans, may be going on present-tense.

"The Simon Wiesenthal Center sent American rabbi Abraham Cooper, the center’s associate dean, to Asia to investigate the reports, which the North Korean regime denies."

Interviews reveal detail of the torture and gross mistreatment such as "’mass starvations, gruesome experimentations, and yes, as we now are beginning to learn and to confirm, gas chambers.’

"Soon Ok Lee, a North Korean now living in the United States, said she spent years in a political prison camp before escaping.

"’When I was in jail, there was at least once or twice in the prison camp, chemical testing on humans that I witnessed.’"

The human rights agency not only does research and report, but also confronts governments committing the atrocities. The intent is to bring those political regimes to world attention, pronouncing them "guilty of crimes against humanity."

A spokesman for the Center informed media that they have concluded that North Korea’s dictatorial government has "learned from Hitler, from Stalin.

"During the Second World War, Hitler's regime killed an estimated six million Jews, many of them in gas chambers. More than 10 million are estimated to have died as a result of Stalin's collectivization policies and political purges in the 1930s."

Human rights defenders are now gathering to schedule demonstrations in a "’number of cities to draw attention to alleged rights violations in North Korea,’ Cooper stated. ’We are here today to put the N back into Never again.'"

The effort is labeled "North Korean Freedom Day."

BOGUS VERSUS REAL

We got there early in the morning before noisy tourists muddled underfoot. Smart move.

That meant that we, with sprain-bent necks, could peer upward long and strong into the Eye—that Oculus. After awhile its 30-foot diameter did us in; but it was worth our pained defeat—for in our losing, we won on the side of aesthetics.

That awesome space (142 feet) looming between our toes and the oculus’ rim was higher than the heights of Rome’s St. Peter’s (139 feet) and the Chartres Cathedral (140 feet).

Emperor Hadrian did a second century good turn when he scooped up the fire-ravished ruins of a first century temple to construct another of architectural marvel.

Sun sun sunlight.

That oculus opens its lens naturally daily to emit God’s fiery eye for this Earth’s sphere. Sunshine brightens the wall, then moves its grace in the time and the space. If only we had had the time to park ourselves on site all day long—pondering, gawking, meditating but chiefly spying that light guest slowly making its way from niche to niche.

Beneath our feet was the marbled floor with its circular and cubic pattern. Wrapping us round were walls colored yellowish brown, green, white and reddish-brown. Master strokes all.

Ah, yes, Rome in spring. Complete with pigeons on Pantheon’s ancient roof ledges.

Pantheon: the temple built in honor of "all gods", for in Latin "pan" equals "all" and "theos" equals god. So there you have it, plain and simple, the edifice constructed to the imagined deities of Rome and Greece.

No matter where one roams—and there is a lot of exceptionally pleasant roaming when wandering the Pantheon—one always is drawn back to the Eye. It is that one opening at the temple dome’s center top.

The Eye is uncovered, welcoming the elements. Rain falls through it onto a slightly concaved floor complete with a drain in its center. In other words, everything’s taken care of—no architectural worry. Let it rain, let it pour, just relax and take in the antiquated splendor.

That temple’s rounded cement top has been hoisted masterfully on top of a rotunda, yielding an interior forming a perfect circle having a diameter and height exactly the same—43 m.

Michelangelo exclaimed the structure to be of "angelic and not human design." When there, we realized that he spoke not in hyperbole.

Can it be believed that this place was once demoted to a soldiers’ fortress? In another era, it was nothing more than a poultry market.

But—as it should be—that molded marvel from artists’ dreams finally became a place for worship in the 7th century.

With that, in place of the niched vaporous imaginative carvings of a previous time were sculpted look-a-likes of saints—real people. Henceforth, believers then could be reminded of what it means to be holy-in-the-actual. So it was that the Pantheon became a parish church.

Thankfully, it still is a place for prayer and dedicated service—though on some days one hardly would get that message with ice cream slurping globe-traipsers such as ourselves filling up the perfectly hemisphered space.

It was then that I contemplated: What about the spiritual integrity of my own temple? What are bogus imaginative nothings clogging up the shadowed niches, preventing the lighted actual, real and sanctified eternal?

It is true: there is much that sculptures "religion" which in fact is depressingly empty, stale habit and even selfish. These nuisance-awful trinkets fill up our alcoves, wrapping us around with a certain numbing comfort which finally is repulsive—and damning?—for they are not of God.

Is it time then for spring cleaning the temple? It is time to sweep in the God-actual and shovel out the fraudulent carnival?

GORE LOSES HIS RELIGION OVER FILIBUSTER FLAP

Al Gore was once a Bible-carrying, salvation-through-Jesus Baptist in the South Belt where going to Sunday school and church was a staple if you considered yourself God-attuned.

There Al Gore was exemplary. There he learned his Bible memory verses, recited them gladly and proudly, impressing the worshipers surrounding his boyhood frame.

That same conviction carried on through his teen years and into marriage to another like-committed born again professing evangelical Protestant.

But Gore has since backslidden, a long time ago, along with William Clinton, the Bible-carrying Southern Baptist little fella who trotted off to church on Sundays while his mom went caring for the sick at the local nursing home.

Gore and Clinton both sat under evangelistic preaching, went to revival meetings, sang the old-time gospel hymns, heard extemporaneous prayers offered by both ministers and laypersons. They both interceded on behalf of the sick, listened to Sunday school teachers expound on weekly Bible lessons, and gave their offerings in the plate.

That’s the kind of John 3:16 upbringing a southerner tags onto his bio when growing up in the pulpit-in-the-center-of-the-platform Baptist world. It’s just there, like the morning breezes. Amen and Hallelujah!

But both Baptist boys, once envisioned by their dedicated elders as being true to the biblical faith till death, came into politics royal. They became enamored by Hollywood celebs, the rich and famous, and of course the liberal politicians who could swing and sway — without Bible in heart or hand. In that, Gore and Clinton left Jesus for the marketplace. They since have tended political tables in the Temple.

Therefore, when the GOP goes for wiping out the most foolish show in Congress — the filibuster — Gore and secular team champion the day care center exercise continuance, particularly railing against any evangelical organizations in America who say they’re out to slay the filibuster giant.

So now we have Gore versus his one-time Bible-believing cohorts, which really is no surprise to the Bible-believing cohorts for, as stated above, they have caught on to Gore’s backslidden tails a long, long time ago.

How, for instance, could a genuine Christian ever stomach Gore throwing his soul in favor of killing womb babies? And to make it all the worse, there stood mother Tipper smiling right alongside her killing-in-the-womb-babies husband political opportunist. So there you have two of the "falling away" in the End Times. No surprise, yet tragic.

Therefore, as Donna Cassata reports for AP: "Former Vice President Al Gore on Wednesday blamed Republican lust for ‘one-party domination’ for the GOP campaign to change Senate rules on filibustering judicial nominees, and he assailed religious zealots for driving the effort.

"’What makes it so dangerous for our country is their willingness to do serious damage to our American democracy in order to satisfy their lust for one-party domination of all three branches of government. They seek nothing less than absolute power.’"

Now for his betrayal of biblical morality, Jesus and the gospel, "he also cited recent comments from leaders of two conservative organizations - the Family Research Council and Focus on the Family - about disenfranchising certain courts or denying them funds.

"’This aggressive new strain of right-wing religious zealotry is actually a throwback to the intolerance that led to the creation of America in the first place,’ Gore said as many in the audience stood and applauded. The speech was sponsored by the liberal group MoveOn's political action committee."

A backslider is predictable every time.

ANTI-ABORTION LAW: CONGRESS / BUSH CONTINUE DEFENDING LIFE

US President George W. Bush, still early in his second term, keeps his promise for defending womb babies against murderers national.

Therefore, he’s given applause to the House victory. "The latest push to curb abortions moves to the Senate where Republican gains increase the likelihood of making it harder for minors to cross state lines to end pregnancies without telling a parent.

"Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., intends to bring such a bill to a vote this summer as one of his top 10 legislative priorities, according to spokeswoman Amy Call." So reports Laurie Kellman, AP Press Writer.

In other words, with some states still opening their murdering doors to slay womb babies, Congress and President are saying they’ll push for life against murder at any level to reach the final conclusion — life for all in every state. It’s the civil thing to do. It’s the rational move to make. It’s the ethical foundation upon which a free country rests.

There can be absolutely no tolerance for slicing infants, including those in females’ bodies.

Planned Parenthood and cohorts obviously refuse to get the life message; but then again in a spiritually damaged world the righteous expect the devil around one corner or another. However, the fight goes on. Thank God presently the fight for life is being waged successfully, step by step, against womb killing Dems in Congress and agencies such as PP.

Laws passed to reduce abortions since President Bush took office in 2001 include:

• "(It’s a) crime to harm a fetus during an assault on a pregnant woman.
  
• "A law last year denied federal funds to state and local agencies that act against health care providers and insurers because they don't provide or pay for abortions.
  
• "In 2003, a procedure - generally carried out in the second or third trimester - (was outlawed) in which a fetus is partially delivered before being aborted.
  
• "In 2002, lawmakers amended the legal definitions for person, human being, child and individual to include any fetus that survives an abortion procedure.
  
• "Separately, Senate abortion opponents last month defeated Democratic amendments to a bankruptcy bill that would have restricted the ability of abortion clinic protesters to file for bankruptcy when confronted with large court fines or damages."
  

With that, we can predict the imbecilic response from baby killers. Note the following repeated litany from murderers national: "It (that is, the House victory vote) certainly reflects a lack of compassion toward teens and in particular to their health," said Louise Melling of the American Civil Liberties Union.


At times, reasonable persons don’t respond to macabre verbalizations such as that provided the media from the ACLU. Did Jesus not warn His disciples not to cast pearls before pigs?

"The Senate is to consider a bill very similar to the measure approved by the House 270-157 Wednesday. The Senate bill would make it a federal crime punishable by a fine, jail time or both for an adult to take a minor across state lines to obtain an abortion in contravention of state parental notification requirements.

"The Senate never has taken up the bill. This year, the measure got a friendlier reception there when Frist named it one of his top legislative priorities, reflecting the four seats Republicans gained in the November elections. They now hold a 55-44 majority over Democrats in that chamber.

"Reflecting rising public support for requiring parents be involved in the decisions of their pregnant daughters, the House bill would impose fines, jail time or both on adult confidants who accompany minors across state lines to circumvent parental notification or consent laws. More than 30 states have enacted such laws.

"It also would penalize doctors who perform the procedure under such conditions. And in states without parental notification laws, the House bill would require abortion providers to notify a parent."

BIBLE PASSAGES REGARDING ABORTION

The Bible speaks of a fetus as a person, not simply tissue that can be discarded if found to be a bother or nuisance. Since the fetus is a person from the moment of conception, then the destroying of the fetus is killing a person.

"In the past, some people have mistakenly speculated that perhaps the body might be in the process of formation for some time, and then 'God breathes a soul into it.' They had it backward. The life that is present forms matter into a body for itself' (Joseph Breig, "Life Forms Matter," The Catholic News, Jan. 24, 1974, p. 8).

"Your hands shaped me and made me. Will you now turn and destroy me? Remember that you molded me like clay. Will you now turn me to dust again? Did you not pour me out like milk ... and knit me together with bones and sinews? You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit" (Job 10:8-12 NIV).

"Before I was born the LORD called me; from my birth he has made mention of my name...and now the LORD says--he who formed me in the womb to be his servant..." (Isaiah 49:1, 5).

"The word of the LORD came to me, saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations’" (Jeremiah 1:4-5).

In the following passages we note that personality is ascribed to the unborn.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that fully well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be" (Psalm 139:13-16).

"Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him" (Psalm 127:3).

Exodus 21:22-25 relates how Israel was to judge a circumstance relating to the death of the unborn: "If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, wound for wound, bruise for bruise."

All of the latter deals with unintentional hurt that comes to a pregnant woman; how much more will divine penalty come upon those who intentionally discard the fetus? The Gospel of Luke ascribes personality to the fetus within Elizabeth:

"When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit... As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy" (1:41, 44).

Mere tissue does not leap for joy; only personhood leaps for joy. The Bible regards the fetus as having personality. In Galatians, Paul speaks of himself as a person while still in his mother's womb, but more a person consecrated by God for a holy mission (compare Jeremiah 1:5 for the same accent):

"But when God, who set me apart from birth, and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles..." (Gal. 1: 15-16).

Since the Bible regards the fetus as personality, then the aborting of the fetus is murdering personality.

Some verses from Scripture dealing with murder are then appropriate for study, such as Genesis 9:6: "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man." Also, read Exodus 23:7: "Have nothing to do with a false charge, and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty."

Note I Peter 4:15: "If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer..."

APPLAUSE FOR HARVARD PRES LAWRENCE SUMMERS. SHAME ON FACULTY

The bottom line is that prejudice does mightily rule at Harvard University. It does. Free thinking and speaking are a charade.

Though faculty continually stated to themselves and media that political correctness was not the issue, it was. Harvard President Lawrence Summers stated some words that apparently did not fit in with females and female supporters on and off campus. Therefore, he was put to task for being mean to women, in short. That’s it. He was not being fair. And of course that could not be tolerated by the academic head of Harvard University.

Summers stated that women were not the same as men when it came to science acumen. So it was reported as the "Gender Gap" in the March-April issue of Harvard Magazine (page 62). That kind of talk from the Harvard President was not permitted.

Why not? Why not permitted? Why not? If there were those who disagreed, then let them disagree. That’s what Harvard is for. Supposedly. Yet obviously not so when the females and their female and male supporters got hold of Summer’s remarks.

To the issue, William M. Murphy wrote in "Letters" (May-June 2005 issue / Harvard Magazine (page 4): "Three cheers for President Lawrence H. Summers for the speech that has aroused such paranoia, and no cheers for his apology. No cheers either for the three college presidents who joined in chiding him, or for the Harvard Corporation in its weak-kneed support of him.

"Summers suggested we might look into whether women’s genetic makeup might cause them to be less gifted, or less interested, in the sciences. Is that not a legitimate subject for inquiry? If he had asked whether man’s genetic makeup might be responsible for more men than women being imprisoned for violent crimes, would there have been calls for his head?

"The fallout from this nonsense has already caused grievous harm to Harvard and, if continued, will cause more. What we are seeing is the ultimate triumph of political correctness, the contemporary equivalent of medieval theological dogma, any deviation from which is regarded as heresy. Galileo must have felt much as Summers feels now, and for the same reason, being forced to apologize while still holding to his beliefs.

"Is Harvard to be held hostage to the whims of neo-Victorian maidens who rush to the smelling salts at the utterance of what they regard as a naughty word — but have plenty of strength left to hike up their skirts and trot off to the nearest TV reporters?

"Is Harvard to reassert the primacy of free thought and free investigation or is it to bow down before a powerful anti-intellectual lobby with a specific agenda?"

Bravo to Mr. Murphy.

Summers has been put through the mill, for certain. One meeting after another. One speech following another. One accusation — though supposedly politely put — sequenced after another.

Then there were the police escorts provided Summers to various gatherings. And all the cameras and reporters crowding in upon his person. All because the Harvard President made a perfectly legitimate statement involving women in comparison to men.

Mark Gluck, Professor of neuroscience, Rutgers University, Newark, New Jersey, wrote his letter to the magazine in which he stated: "There is overwhelming evidence for biologically based sex differences in cognition. In fact, few scientists today would question the existence of fundamental differences between men and women in their patterns of cognitive abilities and the structure and function of certain brain regions.

"It is important to be clear that the relevant studies all report the average (mean) performance of representative samples of males versus females on behavioral tasks; they tell us noting about any particular individual. Because these behavioral measures generally show considerable variability within both groups, many males and females perform counter to average trends.

"One striking result from a wide range of research studies is that females consistently score, on average, higher than males in many language skills, including word articulation and measure of verbal fluency.

"These and other studies suggest that differences in verbal skills are influenced by exposure to sex hormones, both prenatal by the developing fetus, and subsequently during adulthood by circulating levels of these hormones.

"In contrast, males tend to show significant advantage in many skills involving spatial cognition or the coordination of visual and motor function. Again, research has suggested that these differences are due, in part, to both prenatal exposure to sex hormones as well as circulating levels of these hormones at the time of testing.

"Perhaps the most striking differences between men and women are with respect to the representation and manipulation of mental images of there-dimensional objects. . .

"Although societal norms and cultural expectations could influence all of these abilities, the key role of sex hormones in modulating these differences provides compelling evidence for an underlying biological basis for many of these differences."

With that, Summers made his remarks. For that, he was tried and found guilty by a faculty vote stating that they no longer had confidence in his ability to lead. The tally was 218 stating they had no confidence in Summers’ leadership ability. There were 185 who stated that they were not in favor of the no-confidence measure. There were 18 who abstained.

But faculties do not decide whether or not Summers remains as President of Harvard University. The Corporation decides that. In finality, the President reports to and is appointed by the Corporation, not the faculties.

Therefore, when all was said and done, or much was said and done with some said-and-done left unsaid and undone, the Corporation gave a brief statement concluding it stood alongside Summers as President.

Summers has not damaged Harvard University. Certain members of the faculty and cohorts have hurt Harvard University for years to come. The very reason for Harvard University’s existence is for any person, including the President, to state what he feels to be pertinent.

Henceforth, that will no longer be the privilege of all, particularly not the privilege of any President seeking to live out the Harvard University reason for being.

Once again, liberalism has turned cannibal and devoured itself in the name of "free speech, free thought."

BUSH SIGNS LAW UPPING MORALITY: DOWN WITH SMUT IN DVDs

The United States President George W. Bush promised the moral base in America that he would do all he could in this second term to up morality quotients from sea to sea.

Today he signed into law a bill that legally protects filtering companies and aids mothers and fathers concerned about DVD smut. Parents henceforth will be able to "automatically skip or mute sections of commercial movie DVDs," AP reports.

Americans who have an ethical sensibility are anxious about the next generation sliding out of control due to violence, obscenity and lust parlays in lyrics, movies and other so-called entertainment. Therefore, they have appealed to their lawmakers and the executive branch to up the morality milieu. Hopefully, the judicial system will provide its support as well, but one can never tell regarding that branch in particular.

During the Clinton Oval Office antics play-out, it was impossible to hope that the White House would give encouragement to morally based Americans. Instead, the Hollywood glitz regime held sway with the then affable President. As the world knows, he acted out his own immoral scenes time and again within the confines of the executive suite as well as conveniently elsewhere.

Now that we have a President who professes to being biblically grounded ethically, believers in particular hold that they have a chance to return the United States to a sensible, healthy environment, especially for the upcoming generations. Flick entertainment is as good a place to begin as any.

"The legislation came about because Hollywood studios and directors had sued to stop the manufacture and distribution of such electronic devices for DVD players. The movies' creators had argued that changing the content — even when it is considered offensive — would violate their copyrights."

Nevertheless, President Bush went on the moral advance by signing, without comment, the bill. It’s called the Family Entertainment and Copyright Act. From now on, there will be an "exemption in copyright laws to make sure companies selling filtering technology won’t get sued out of existence.’

"The legislation also reauthorizes a Library of Congress program dedicated to saving rare, culturally significant works, such as home movies, silent-era films and other works that are unlikely to be protected by the big studios."

SAUDI WAHHABI MUSLIMS TEACH HATE VS. CHRISTIANS & JEWS

There is no tolerance at all toward Christians and Jews. They are considered the "other." The "other" is to be despised and rejected, finally obliterated in the name of Allah.

According to Nina Shea, director of Freedom House's Center for Religious Freedom, as reported on FaithFreedom.org at http://www.faithfreedom.org/oped/NinaShea50425.htm, "there is no religious freedom in Saudi Arabia and everyone there, Muslim or not, must obey the rules of the extreme sharia of the kingdom’s established religion, the Wahhabi interpretation of Islam.

"The Saudi state indoctrinates its nationals from an early age in the Wahhabi ideology of zero tolerance for the ‘other.’ Government textbooks and publications teach that it is a religious obligation for Muslims to hate Christians and Jews and warn against imitating, befriending, or helping them in any way, or taking part in their festivities and celebrations.

"The state teaches a Nazi-like hatred for Jews, and avows that the Muslim’s duty is to eliminate the state of Israel."

Therefore, when CAIR (Council on America-Islamic Relations) relates on its web site http://www.cair-net.org/ all sorts of cordial enticements to readers to appreciate Islam, it’s a lie.

It’s a lie intended to fool America into believing that Muslim devotees hold to a peace religion. They do not. They hold to a religion from hell with Allah as Lucifer and the Koran written by demons. Its baseline is not love, but hate. Its mission is to extinguish all non-Muslims from the planet.

Recently, a woman from the south, in what she calls a "small town," found a flyer on her car window. She tells of her experience on the web at http://www.faithfreedom.org/oped/LauraMansfield50426.htm.

The flyer was an invitation to attend a neighborhood mosque. She decided to go. But she was an hour early. So she sat in the back of the building, listening to a give-and-take dialogue between Muslims, all spoken in Arabic.

What the Arabs attending did not know is that the visitor understood Arabic. So she heard them encouraging one another in how to take over America. She heard them blatantly plan out how to fool Americans into believing Islam to be peaceful. She heard them scheme plots to destroy the nation, little by little if necessary.

She wrote: "As the meeting drew to a close, the imam gave a brief speech calling for the protection of Allah on the mujahideen fighting for Islam throughout the world, and reminded everyone that it was their duty as Muslims to continue in the path of jihad. . ."

When one Arab spoke up to remind the others that a visitor was seated in the back of the room, the response was that she did not understand Arabic and therefore all was safe. She knew Arabic. She heard their agendas and she learned more than she had bargained for when showing up for a neighborly gathering at the local mosque.

After that session, she then saw a few others file into the room for the neighbor-hug-and-kiss time for building cordial relations with the community. There were handshakes and smiles, greetings and gestures of kindness as the next hour told of Islam’s mission for peace around the world, particularly in the United States.

Nina Shea goes on to relate that not only are Christians and Jews persecuted but even Islamics not allied with Wahhabism are persecuted. "Muslims who object to even particular tenets of Wahhabism, such as advocates of greater religious tolerance, also are viewed as the ‘other’ and condemned as ‘infidels.’ Under Saudi law, such ‘blasphemers’ and ‘apostates’ from Islam can be sentenced to death.

"Political reformers, too, are crushed on religious grounds. Three Saudi professors have now languished for over a year in prison after proposing that the country adopt a written constitution. Among other charges, their terminology was denounced as un-Islamic or ‘Western.’

"State publications condemn democracy itself as un-Islamic. They instill contempt for America because the United States is ruled by ‘infidel’ legislated law, rather than Wahhabi-style Islamic law."

To those familiar with Christian doctrine, to hear these Saudi Muslims then proclaim America as "Satan" is to understand that that is exactly the methodology of Satan. He calls Christian believers, for example, "Satan" in order to engender hostility toward Christians.

Satan did that with Jesus. Satan had his own followers label Jesus as Beelzebub. Therefore, Jesus, God incarnate, was regarded by bystanders as from hell, an agent of The Pit.

That is why Jesus had to be forceful in defending His own identity against the actual liars. He also had to be forthright in declaring the reality concerning Satan and hell as well as fallen angels. Jesus spoke bluntly to his audience in informing them that the real Satanists were the lying hypocrites in the Temple guard who in fact defended evil while declaring themselves to be righteous.

Therefore, the same tactics are used in every generation, including ours. Those in league with Satan, such as Muslims, call the Americans "Satan." It’s an old game but works on occasion. Nevertheless, it is a particularly popular persecuting-killing game in Saudi Arabia.

BUSH CORDIALITY TO DE LAY PROPER

House Majority Leader Tom DeLay has not been found guilty of anything. Until then, US President George W. Bush has the right to be publicly cordial.

Of course, politics is politics. And that’s what is going on big time once again at this juncture. And with Dems out to cripple anything the majority Republican presence puts in place, Mr. Bush knows when it’s time to cut through the murky intrigue. Yesterday was time.

Consequently, when the President offered DeLay polite words and a ride on the President’s plane from Texas to DC, big deal. In other words, it was time for the Oval Office to say to the Dems: "Watch your haranguing step, you bloody hounds."

What did Mr. Bush do?

He spoke kindly of DeLay. He stood alongside DeLay and smiled. The two men waved. They flew on the same plane. It was time to do all that. It was time for delay would have given the damaging Dems just the time frame they want to gross out DeLay with explosives unreasonable.

Dems have never had anything constructive to offer. That dates way back, particularly during the John F. Kerry presidential campaign hate speech syndrome and more.

Therefore, as the world now knows, destruction is what Dems do best —

• destroying the biblical definition of marriage,
  
• destroying the biblical understanding of sexual ethics via pro-homosexual lifestyle,
  
• destroying babies in wombs,
  
• destroying the Christian sacrament of communion,
  
• destroying America’s place in the world by offering it to the United Nations,
  
• destroying biblical ethics via relativism in morality,
  
• destroying Congressional proceedings logical via filibuster day care center exercises,
  
• destroying America’s heritage by erasing Judeo-Christian beginnings, and on and on.
  

Therefore, when it comes to DeLay, not just anybody but the House Majority Leader, it’s time to load up to destroy the destroyers. Now if the ethics committee finds DeLay amiss, the world will know. But that amiss has yet to be come upon and Mr. Bush knows that fully. Therefore, we’re back to timing. It’s time for the President to smile toward, speak appreciatively of and invite on his plane House Majority Speaker Tom DeLay.

So he did it.

If DeLay is found guilty of cozy hugs with lobbyists, what will that do to Mr. Bush? Nothing. That time frame has not yet arrived and indeed may never arrive. If sadly it does surface negatively against DeLay, only imbeciles will look back at the Air Force Plane ride as support for Mr. Bush’s criminality!

Therefore, it was time.

It was time to tell fellow Republicans to stay firm, remain loyal to the party, and back a fellow member now under Dem attack. When the Dems come after another Republican, others within the party had better understand how to act loyally to a fellow Republican, give public support and so tell the Dems to back off until absolute evidence is forthcoming for a guilty verdict.

Joseph Curl of The Washington Times reported: "Asked about a report that an overseas trip he made in 2000 was charged to a lobbyist's credit card, Mr. DeLay said, ‘I didn't know that that went on.’"

Guess what? DeLay’s response might just be totally true. Until it’s proven without doubt that it’s not totally true, fly the plane, smile the smile, and wave the wave — the two of you — Mr. Bush alongside Mr. Delay.
