Howard Dean: The Ongoing Democrat Degeneration

It must be lots of fun, in some quarters, to be a Democrat today. With DNC Chairman Howard Dean’s latest sophomoric actions, not only are some of the aging leftist baby-boomers able to wax nostalgic about their high school days…they’re actually able to join their more youthful MoveOn.org members and relive them! On Wednesday, Dean was addressing a group of Minnesota Democrats when he (in a fit of hilarity at his own joke) made snorting sounds in reference to Rush Limbaugh’s former addiction to the pain-killer Oxycontin. But, an audience reaction to Limbaugh’s addiction to Oxycontin (a drug to which many have become addicted) was not what Dean attempted to provoke in and from the immature group of attendees.

As has become common fare with the Dem chairman (and most Dems in general), Dopey Dean was working on starting the false rumor that Limbaugh had used and had been addicted to cocaine. The fact that he did not and was not doesn’t matter to Dean or the Dems. Question one: Isn’t the pro-drug contingent part of the Democrat Party? Rush used pain-killers for a continuing back problem brought on by injury and, subsequent, surgeries. To his credit, he has been able to kick this most insidious addiction. Question two: Don’t Dems support rehab? However, with true Dem ‘integrity’ the loose-cannon Dean (is this guy is a real MD???) never seems to care that he’s lying and, apparently, doesn’t care about drug addiction. In fact, as Dean is their “leader”, it seems that none of the leftist Dems do. Then, in what has become the increasingly intriguing reality of Dean’s audiences, there was a most interesting spectator response to his snorts. With an almost identical reaction to that of Dean’s presentation to the Democrat Black Caucus (a speech laced with racial comments), the audience laughed wildly! Like sixteen-year-olds, they found Dean’s snorting hysterical. This is our “elite intelligensia” in its own element. I’ll bet they would have been on the floor, in hysterics, if Dean had made flatulence sounds with his armpit! That’s a video I’d love to see. Then, they even laughed at Howie’s statement: "I'm not very dignified. But, I'm not running for president anymore." Hmmm. Is this another example of the Dems pretending to be anything to attempt to win elections? You betcha’! Note: We can clearly see this phenomenon in Hillary Clinton’s prep for a presidential run; pretending to have moved to the ‘right’ while her prior mentors have been Marxists.

Howard Dean’s lunacies continue to represent the Dem constituencies, in true puerile fashion, and he has become their beloved Dem poster boy. Dean is the face and mouth (along with the badly-aging and corpulent Ted “the swimmer” Kennedy) of the NEW Democrat Party. This is it, folks, and it’s as good as it gets. With no plans or programs for the country, trashing talk-show hosts and lying about Republicans is the best they’ve got. And Doc Howie is gleefully leading the pack of the Dem wolves (no disrespect to wolves intended). I’ve heard on numerous occasions that the worse Dems do in elections, or pre-elections, the higher they move in the Democrat syndicate. Howie is now, unequivocally, proving that rumor to be true.

The Dems have no idea how badly they need to bring Zell Miller back. No clue at all.

Dean represents the Democrats as morons. Why do we never hear ANY of them speaking out against him? Guess they really are moronic!

These 'new democrats' are an interesting bunch and Dean is a goofball. I particularly like the Tom Delay issue. The Republicans (including DeLay) want to start an ethics committee investigation (knowing full well that there's nothing there) but, the democrats are blocking it.

The dems bring the charges but, want to keep them in the rumor category. They know that when the truth comes to light, they'll be shown as liars. Then, there's always the possibility that the 'ethics committee' will bring the Dems' Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi up on charges for the same thing Tom DeLay is accused of.

And then there's always the $2-4 millions of illegal contributions to Hillary's campaign.

As a "hardline right winger" I truly hope the dems keep aligning themselves with idiots like Dean.

My rant on the subject.

As much of a loon as Dean is, I'm surprised nothing has been uncovered about any of his past problems.

This representation of Dean by all means is welcomed by the Republicans. He is definately insensitive as he obviously is towards many. The republicans won the last election, and one would ask "why"? Let Dean drag down the Democratic party more and more. I thought Kerry was the biggest idiot, but there is a tie.

It boggles the mind that this biggoted anti-American clown (an unfunny one at that) was given the Chairmanship of the Democrat Party. Guess it's true. To the Dems, money really IS their god!

Yep, the dems sure do want to leave DeLay twisting in the wind. If he were convicted of his crimes, then he would be removed from office or at least demoted, and they wouldn't have him to kick around anymore. This is sort of the same strategy the swiftboat guys used to trash Kerry. It didn't really matter if their charges were true or not, only that they got out into the press over and over. We can't really blame the dems for using a successful republican strategy...it works!

To "swiftboat" guy. First of all, if you'd bothered to read one of the above posts (or the news), you'd already know that both the Republicans and DeLay want to proceed with an "Ethics Committee" hearing. It's the Democrats who are blocking it. See...they know their charges are trumped up.

Second, DeLay is being charged because of a trip, paid for by a lobbyist, that both he and Dems (including Pelosi and Reid) took. But, only DeLay is being "charged". BTW, today Nancy Pelosi was asked to prove that several of her trips weren't paid for by lobbyists. SURPRISE...she refused! In regards to the Swiftboat Vets, apparently you haven't read "Unfir For Command" either. The documentation in that book in inescapable to any thinking and intelligent person. Do you even read???

what is in Dean's past?

Please share or elaborate.

I personally am thankful to have a president who has devalued the dollar and got gas up near Euro rates (we hate the rench, but let's pay their rate).

Hope China doesn't divest from the US bond market (they could crush us without firing a single bullet)

I think that many of us are missing the larger point here. We're expecting the extremist wing of the Democratic Party to act rationally, responsibly, and like adults. It's just not going to happen. Today's Democratic Party is NOT a political organization in the normal sense - look at what it actually does, rather than what it says. In function, it's much more like a hate cult. It offers an opportunity for angry, bitter, and petty people to lash out against those they hate and fear.

The problem here is that the Democrat Party's "extremist wing" IS the Dem Party. Their extreme faction is running the Party to the "atta' boys" of Kennedy, Kerry, Biden, Dean, Clinton, Pelosi, Reid and all the rest of their slugs.

Dean doesn't really seem all that bad, why are so many republican's ragging on him?

Balancing budgets, pro-guns, all about freedom and reponsibility on a global level...Get a clue, that's Dr. Dean's record. He _is_ a conservative democrat.

What is it that Bush did before his daddy's buddies made him a tool? Oh yea, nothing except be a drunk, snort cocaine and smoke weed. <- thats a fact.

When you see Iraq Veterans begging on the streets in 10 years, you'll know who to thank.

To above poster,

Dean is a "conservative Democrat". That statement was the first clue that the rest of your post would be garbage. It is.

Proud Texas,

Can you enlighten readers to what a conservative is then?

Sure. I could give you a long dissertation on Conservatism. But, to save time and space, one thing conservative is not is someone who aligns himself/herself with Moveon.org and the leftist nuts. Dean did...and still does.

Proud Texas,

Most people who are part of moveon.org and the DNC are just frustrated citizens who believe most politicians are swayed by big donors. That's why Al Gore didn't get the votes in Florida, and Leibermann would never become nominated. Sure there are big donors to the Dems, but Repubs will always have the bigger piece of the pie.

Why not concentrate the power of those voters whose basic beliefs are quite different from republicans? I think all here agree that Dems can cause a ruckus in any state when in large, organized groups.

Dean got to be the DNC chair simply because he'll shake things up which is what most hardcore Dems agree on. Probably creating some hell along the way and helping the GOP in the short run by swaying moderates to the GOP.

Whoever you are (above poster), you've got your head up where the sun don't shine. The Dems spent a LOT more money on the 2004 Presidential campaign than the Republicans did. George Soros (atheist and Communist), alone, contributed about $30M. The Dems also spent more money than the Republicans in the 2000 pres race. You guys will do what you want anyway but, Dean wil still be a goof ball!

That's funny Proud Anti-American, I couldn't find anything on that site about the dispersion of the monetary sources for the candidates. Seems someone doesn't want us to know the vast majority of Bush's funds came from contributions of $50 or less where the majority of Kerry's funding came from the elitist Left-wing agenda-pushing rich, like Soros, or Hollywood. Plus, so what if Bush had more funding. What are you going to do, cry? It just shows that the middle class backs him. (at least when our other option is Kerry)

Texas, the Move On crowd is nothing more than Soros' attack dog, consequentially they are quite self-delluding about his activities. Remmember, don't frustrate yourself, they're immune to logic.

Oxycontin is snorted by addicts. I think Conservatives should spend time bashing Clinton. Dean is working for next Presidental candidate(Clinton) with his partisan swipes. Dean was known as "Little Clinton" in Vermont. Everytime you write about Dean, you are helping Clinton. Anybody that thinks Dean is a Liberal and has an agenda other than his own Polital ambission , is uniformed. or
