Woman Abuse Prevention Month

In Canada "November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month"?

Wonderful. Unlike the US, where October is "Domestic Violence Awareness Month," in creating the prevention month the Canadian DV establishment didn't even go through the pretense of minimal gender inclusively.

BTW, there are two inconvenient truths regarding most (if not all) studies which say that "one out of every four women will be abused as some point in her life":

1) The same studies show similar rates of abuse committed by women against their male partners.

2) Much (though certainly not all) of the abuse in those studies is relatively trivial.

Since the overwhelming majority of child abuse is committed by mothers, not fathers, I wonder if their Child Abuse Awareness Month is called...oh, forget it...
