But in America, normal things like flu or small illnesses cost a bomb to treat. Added to it is the fact that a drug cannot be obtained without a prescription makes it mandatory to visit a doctor and pay a huge fees to get the treatment(an average general practitioner doctors fees is about 150 dollars here in NJ and when I go through the insurance co, I pay my co pay of 15 dollars and the insurance co pays him about 65 thereby bringing the total to $80). If instead of $150 or even $80, it were something like $25 or $30, things would be a lot better. If the doctors could remove some overheads like 3 girls in their office each being paid $3000 a month to fill the insurance claims and receptionist etc, they can make a pretty decent living even at a charge of $30 per visit. And since 9 of the top 10 paying jobs in America is in the medical field and general practitioners come in that 9, I find it difficult to muster any sympathy for them. And if it were not mandatory to get a prescription to get a drug, quite a lot of people would save a bomb just by self medication for some simple ailments.

She admits she framed him, but he’s still charged

Let's see, do I have this right? I think so.

Lela Churchwell got jealous of her boyfriend Kevin Robinson's apparently innocent relationship with a teenaged girl. So, using Robinson's video camera, she secretly filmed the girl in the shower. Then she hit him on the head with a shovel "two or three times." Then she tried to convince him that he had taken the photos while drunk. Then she lied to the police about all of the above. Then she admitted being a pathological liar and doing all of this to set him up and get him in trouble with authorities.

The police of course have a solution to all of this - arrest and charge the man! What else?

And get this: one of the charges against Robinson is making "comments of a sexual nature" to the teenager. Huh? That's a criminal act?

At least they arrested her too. I guess that's their definition of equal justice.
