Any politician with enough “good sense” to realize that the old “win at all cost” approach is a long term loser derserves a vote, in fact lots of them!
The child support racket, er I mean system, is falling apart, the more unreasonable and the more tyranical they act, the more people resiste them. They are gonna lose, it is just a matter of time. Then , we the good people will have to pick up the pieces.
The problem with the system is that it has become only about money, it seems the best interest of the children does not concern anyone, outside the parents “THE REAL BEST INTEREST” is about a bunch of selfish, socially,legally and morally irresponsible adults,mostly women, want to do “wrong” and then get paid for it. And the crooked and corupt government thugs who are all to happy to help, provided they get a piece of the action.
I have studied this thing in detail, for some years now. I have come up with one conclusion. The cooperative approach is best, but until we “equalize” the legal system, ie take away all the benefits women get without a equal return, it won’t work!
The entire, post marital contract reguarding the children is just that a contract! A good contract is two way, ie consciounable, everybody gets something. What has been created does nothing of the sort, it is ineffect a government sponsored kidnapping and extortion racket.
It does not work and will not ever work, because it is imbalanced.
The way to fix it is simple ,yet hard to do. You have to first take away all the excess that those that “won” have and redistribute them back to those that “lost”. Institute and make it mandatory, Joint physical/legal custody. Accept no excuses and make no exceptions, save a parent being totally unfit. That would have to be proven with the burden of proof being on the accuser, not the accused.
We would still have child support, except in most cases it is part of a “conscionable agreement” not the God awful injustice and indignity forced on people by “terroristic threat” A direct payment to the women, would in most cases be gone. In a few cases it would still happen, but we would institute and enforce some basic protections for the payer, reguardless of what the state wants. It would nolonger be alimony disguised as child support and would not support the womens lifestyle or the states “little racket”. We could then go back to “the best interest” of the children. Create peace, by creating justice. No longer reward those that steal children, then want to get paid for it.
I think once that happens, the state will bow out, since the only role they will have is to hold the contract and make sure everyone abides by it, not just the men.
