Judge rules convicted female sex offender caught in Internet police sting did not violate probation

The former Warner Christian Academy teacher under house arrest for having an affair with one of her 17-year-old students avoided prison for a second time Wednesday when a judge was convinced she didn’t willfully violate her probation.

In February, Horvath avoided up to 15 years in prison when she pleaded no contest to unlawful sexual activity with a high school senior who had been her student at the private school in South Daytona.
