VAWA is an outrage: Couple arrested for verbal disagreement “assaulting” each other with Cheetos

A Shelbyville, Tennessee couple, James Earl Taylor and Mary S. Childers, has been arrested (thanks to mandatory arrest laws) for a disagreement in which Cheetos were thrown around.

Note the ridiculousness of the reason for arrest:

According to Cpl. Roddy’s report, the pair became “involved in a verbal altercation” with each other “at which time Cheetos potato chips were used in the assault.”

No one was injured in any way. Police could not determine who the aggressor was, so they arrested everyone.

What an outrageous waste of taxpayer resources by a predatory legal system! Now these people are victims of the state with criminal arrest records and a total of $5,000 bond put up for their release.
