1977 grand jury testimony of the 13-year-old California girl with whom the director had sex after plying her with Champagne and a Quaalude at the Los Angeles home of Jack Nicholson. Polanski, now 74, fled the U.S. for Europe before he could be sentenced for the sex crime and remains a fugitive from justice. In graphic testimony, Samantha Gailey described the illicit encounter with Polanski, which began with her posing naked in a Jacuzzi for him as he purportedly snapped photos for French Vogue. From there, Polanski approached her in a bedroom of Nicholson’s Mulholland Drive home and, despite her demands that he “keep away,” sought to kiss Gailey. The teenager, an aspiring model, testified that Polanski, 43 at the time, later performed a sex act on her and “started to have intercourse with me.” She also testified that Polanski “put his penis in my butt” after asking her, “Would you want me to go in through your back?” (30 pages)

Q. At any time did Mr. Polanski offer you something to drink?
A. Yes. I think I said I was thirsty. And he went in the kitchen and this refrigerator, it was full of juice and wine and soda and all this stuff. And he got out — got a bottle of champagne. And he said, “Should I open it?”
And I went, “I don’t care,” you know.
And so he asked the woman if it was all right and she said that it was.
Q. So did he open the bottle of champagne?
A. Yes.
Q. Do you know what kind of champagne it was?
A. It was 1971 or something.

Q. Did you take a quaalude?
A. I took part of it.
Q. Where did you get it?
A. He gave it to me.

Thank you for posting the transcript of Samantha Geimer’s testimony. It is horrifying that members of various film fraternities are defending a child rapist. I think , this warrants a boycott against Hollywood – esp against those who are signing the ” free Polanski” petitions. It is clear that Hollywood has a depraved sense of morality but to learn that they defend child rape is outrageous.

The circumstances of this alleged rape are murkey. A 13 year old girl is left alone by her mother with a notorious (and rich) womanizer in order that he can take sexy pictures of her. The mother then calls the cops saying her daughter has been raped and later, Polanski agrees to pay his victim half a million dollars.
In the 30 years since, not a single other person has come forward to make any kind of sexual accusation against Polanski. Odd, as we all know that paedophiles and sex offenders are irredeemable recidivists.
And how on Earth is the man going to get a fair trial now after his media lynching? Mens News Daily shouldn’t be participating in it. MRAs and readers of this site should know more than most that American justice on sexual matters is something you can’t blame anyone for running from.
