An excellent video. Feminists are always trying to dupe us into believing that women didn’t have the vote when all men did. This video tells the truth. The policemen who were on duty during the suffragette protests themselves could not vote because voting in the UK at the time was a right granted only to property owners, so tha majority of men and women had no vote.

WRONG! Eric, You must be from the UK and not know anything about the history of other countries than your own. And you, like most males and too many females, obviously not only know nothing substantive about Feminism and are only displaying typical macho misogyny. In the USA, for example, women only received the vote in 1920, after more than a hundred years of suffragette work, imprisonment and extremely repressive treatment. Black men had to fight to be allowed to vote , as late as our Civil Rights wars in the streets and neighborhoods throughout the States in the 1950′s-60′s, some of which is still going on. “Illegal” immigrants, allowed/needed in our work force, are now more “official” targets.
Our Constitution denied voting rights to slaves (all Black people), women of any color, indentured servants, non-property owners (insuring that white males were supreme because only they owned almost all the property). Education was denied to girls on all levels. Pay for women for doing the same work as men was drastically lower. I could cite almost unlimited injustices. Even “privileged” white women, married to powerful, rich men were “one man away from welfare.”
You need to start studying! The plight of women in many other countries is still desparate and for poorer, less well-educated or minority women in the U.S. it is not good nor is the white woman or any other woman totally living in equality or parity here.

And, one more comment: In Great Britain, women were subjected to indignities and were repressed in many ways more demeaning than in the U.S. I think this explains why the Suffragettes were not willing to take on the fight for non-property owning men. Elitism/classism has plagued the UK more than the US. This video, however, is TOTALLY ANTI-WOMAN. Too bad you do not have an author such as Susan Faludi who described the attitudes of similar men in the U.S. in her book STIFFED. Or, try the book by the Canadian Andrea Dworkin, WOMAN HATING.
Any well-read, well-educated person, male or female, knows that Racism-Elitism-Sexism go together as much as the three-headed Hydra in Greek mythology. The men in this video sound like petulant, rather ignorant, rationalizers and self-pitiers. Yuck.

Winbk, in case you didn’t notice, the video applies to the history of voting rights in the UK. I was not commenting on the situation in other countries. The video represents the historical truth in the UK, the historical truth which feminists are never on good terms with – wherever they live.
You feminists counter every anti-feminist argument or any truth that falls outside of feminist ‘thinking’ as being misogynistic, but most people can see through that defence now for what it is -sophistry!
I am going to look into the voting right in the USA, but I suspect their development will be similar to that in the UK for whites. Blacks were a different matter, like South Africa, the USA practiced apartheid right up into the 1960s, but black men did not get the vote before black women, they got it as a race.
I wouldn’t waste my time reading any rubbish written by Faludi or Dworkin. It was Dworkin who called all men rapists. Most of these kingpin feminists, like Faludi and Dworkin, are ugly dysfunctional Jewish wimmin. The most dysfunctional countries with the most messed up children in the world are the UK and the USA and they are also the most feminist-ridden with masculine wimmin instead of real women, which is why feminism took off as it did in those countries.
The collapse of the economies in the UK and the USA is going to wind up ending the welfare state, the artificial world created by pie-in-the-sky idealism is going to disappear leaving things much as they were before feminism, socialism, etc., so you wimmin are going to be one pay cheque away from destitution if men fail to take control and re-institute the repudiated world (the family) that existed before these ideologies screwed everything up at huge cost.
The vote is just mob-rule by proxy and it will be history before the end of this century. Voters vote for the unrealistic promises that politicians make to get elected and this always winds up bankrupting and ruining the countries that are run on that unrealistic, pie-in-the-sky basis.
The men who made those excellent videos have integrity, are intelligent and know their facts, unlike you feminists who have no integrity and think that you can falsify history or the state of affairs into agreeing with or bowing down to feminist ‘thinking’.
