I’m not sure if you understand that the pay gap is referring specifically to jobs in-which males and females have the same amount of work and responsibility. it’s not about job choice and ability.

yes I’m sure you don’t understand. it would be curious to consider an example you could provide. I am a man that has been in the work force for 38 years and I can’t. Equally over those years, I have never had anyone advocate for a fair pay practice on my behalf. Additionally I have witnessed numerous circumstances in the workplace where a single male worker has been replaced by 2-3 female workers.
It would seem that if there was in fact a pay gap, that industry would exploit this to there benefit. Sort of like “let’s hire us some women to save money and get rid of these expensive men”. Just to make the shareholders some more profit. Affirmative action was needed because ……………….why?
I say you go girl prove your point to industry not to me. Do it first in the private sector, not with my tax dollars. Once you’ve achieved that, try coming home on friday, handing your paycheck over to your husband, so he could tell you it isn’t enough and how worthless you are.
amount of work = productivity
responsibility = produce enough to make a profit and you get to keep your job
choice = providing it but not having it
ability = living this nightmare of exploitation while believing that your getting away with it.
